na prob not... never HUGELY like motorvation.. half the cars there are silvias with duck tape holding the rear bar on. and burnouts that you cant see shit and just get boring after the 102nd car... im NOR so its a hike to get there, plus the $30 each to get in, and $10 for bottle of water in 34 degrees... mmm na.. think ill skip it this year

I should be going... I'll probably go...but still deciding on which day. If Sunday is cooler I might go then... I live 5 minutes away from the Plex, so that's why I'll go...otherwise I probably wouldn't be bothered with this damn heat... 40 degree's today...I'm cooked already... Rob.
You guys claim to all be car enthusiasts but comments like what I've seen above state otherwise. For the record, there aren't many Silvias entered - why because simply alot of them don't make the cut. No one can deny that Motorvation is one of the premier motor shows in Australia. Yes there is a large V8/Bogan/Yobo contingent, but its far from what its been in the past and other makes/manufactuers get alot more respect than they used to. There is something that is going to please everyones eye. There are going to be alot of very nice, very shiny, very powerful, very fast cars there. Jet cars are doing their flameout show Sat night. Armygeddon will also be doing demo's; theres more than just burnouts. But each to their own. I've entered my Evo and will be driving on Sat morning and Sun arvo in the competitive events. I'll be down there all weekend.

Yeah? Do they? I think everyone on this forum is a Zed enthusiast if anything. Maybe to a lesser extent, a Jap car enthusiast, which may explain a lack of interest in Motorvation because as you said, it is mainly dominated by the V8 Aussie cars...which isn't to everyone's taste...especially a lot of people on this forum... I had a great time last year, but I doubt this year will live up to imo. Unless you're entered, or you have a few friends entered I don't think its as much fun. Plus $38 per day is quite a cost. In saying that, I'm sure anyone that goes along will still have a good time.

Each to their own If you go to the motorplex website you will see there is a huge variety of cars entered in varied stages of modification. I like the environment of motorvation if you dont then DONT BAG IT EITHER. I went to auto salon which you are a great fan of Josh and a lot of those cars would never have been started up for fear of tarnishing their BLING but thats cool too. If you cant find something that interests you and leaves you feeling positive about the experience then stay home and pay out on a website on those that do. Trevor

Well looks like I'm the only one representing the Zeds at Motovation then. NIZMO will be at the XSpeed stand minus the bodykit that she was suppose to have like 4 months ago! (on the slowest boat from japan i tell you!) and the rims arrived without the centrecaps and they won't be here in time eitther so i'm a bit stressed and disappointed as she isn't going to look as showy and she was meant too but oh well not much i can do about it. Not many Silvias entered - if you go to the Motorplex website there's a list of the vehicles entered.
