96 TT hardtop nice car http://www.uniquecarsales.com.au/pl...n=20000&price_max=30000&keywords=300zx manual
i havnt seen that car before, if he was a member chances are that it would be on sale on here too..... looks really clean, and hell its a 96....that alone will save you money on replacing perished stuff on the zed....though 16psi?????i dunno if thats a good thing... if you dont mind me asking, why do you consider a 300zxTT over a sti wrx (since you have had both).....just want to know as i regularily have a discussion with the boys which is better, they obviously think their "omaguud fully sick ula rexyiz" are better
i was looking at that and considering it actually But in the carpoint ad it's a "2 door 4 seat COUPE" Slicktops didn't come in 2+2 did they? Probably just a simple mistake when clicking the lil boxes while putting up the ad i guess
Both are different cars (300ZX + STi) . And both are in different price ranges aswell. The STi i had (2-door Type R) is the quickest STi ever brought into Australia (22B not included) it was a very fun car to drive very fast never lost a race in that car and i raced every single jap car out there. It handled and braked very good aswell. The 300ZX had always been my favourite aswell and i never knew how cheap they were. The 300ZX is the only other car i'd consider (in the price range it is in) if i can not get another STi. The Zed is 20K cheaper than the STi, with 20K you can do alot of things. Your mates that think WRX's are the best are morons sorry to say. I dont even consider a WRX to be a performance car they are crap, but they are usefull daily drivers. But the STi is a true performance car and if you ever drive one you'll understand what i mean. Also the attention i used to get from the girls in the Z is priceless, i got attention in the STi too but more from the guys esp from WRX guys being 2-door and all they used to drool. PS: Im in the market for another Z32 And which is better? i love them both, they both are awesome cars, i wish i could have both at the same time
Fortunately, I'm lucky enough to say that I do have both and that they are both excellent cars in their own right. The STi wins hands down when it comes to handling, brakes and agility. For straightline, tyre-burnin', pure 'push you into the seat' grunt, I'd take the 300 anyday.
Very possibly only 96 model Twin Turbo Hardtop Manual in the country, it says.. J spec never had a twin turbo 2 seater slicktop coupe. Only N/A. the turbo must have been added on later..
i concur.. i know of a few... i know vaughan over here has a slicktop 2 seater auto TT... it would be the lightest fastest Z32 so they probably all got turned into track cars..
I agree, my car is a factory slicktop 2 seater TT, but its the race car that has the targas - go figger. That car could be a NA-TT conversion, the speedo has not boost guage like a TT would have.
Pod is the same as the aus-spec But the speedo is J-spec... never seen that combination before... It seems odd that the later model downgraded the A/C control
actually the 96+ lost the boost gauge i think......i remember i sweet 1996 TT 2+2 which came with auto tranny and other bits with it went for 10 gran....i was spewing, that didnt have the boost gauge on it either.... it was owned by a mechanic who had to get rid of it as they were having their first child......
Targa's, Climate control and leather were all options for the zed in Jland. So If you want a base model TT, you get a slicktop, 2 seats, manual aircon, and velour. Plus a tape player.
Yes, but read my original post again. From what I have gathered, you can not get a factory slicktop TT in the USA! Just like you can't get a Aus-Spec TT unless it has been converted.
