Can't imagine anything would be different but bear in mind

that the set up for manuals is different from autos. On manuals there is a switch on the clutch pedal to alert the cruise control that the engine is about to be disengaged from its load otherwise engine revs might suddenly race to dangerous levels.

Will keep that in mind, thanx. I am pretty sure

it is coming out of a manual, the only difference is it is a TT and Mine an NA
    Thanx Fran :)

Providing you have everything there is no reason why it would not. Best to find someone else with CC and check theirs for what is supposed to go where. The harnesses are the same weather they had CC or not so all the plugs will be there, just don't forget the switch on the brake pedal and if you are a manual, one on the clutch too.

Also but could be wrong but I think for manual transmissions

there is a switch on the gearbox to let the CC know when the car is in neutral - might be worth checking out.

That switch is already there gardless unless a conversion to manual has been done in the past and the neutral switch has been botched so the ECU thinks it is in neutral permanently.

so here is the other question, how do get CC to work when manual conversion has been done and th ECU thinks it's in neutral?? sorry to steal this thread;)

control, I know I will as I miss it on long drives. Sounds lazy I know but helps me stick to the speed limit also ;)
