just a quicky.... This weekend im stripping my head lights... and painting the insides... Im thinking black, will bering out the black marble when its done... ive also head some people say its illegal to do it as it cuts out the light you produce but they are grean OEM any way??? which would look better, black, chome of as is?
Do you mean that you are going to paint the glass or the plastic bit at the bottom? I'd be leaving it as is for the colour of your car.
Yeah, leave it as is. I really doubt that it is illegal, since it doesn't effect the spread of the light. It's not as if your painting the reflectors...
yeh thats the only problem as simmo said. there's things i wanted to try out with my taillights when i pulled them apart, but i was worried it could bugger up meaning i'd have to pull them apart again....... it wouldn't be hard to do but pulling them apart a couple of times would make that plastic very brittle i imagine. have u started doing them yet? are you using a heat gun or the oven? have a heat gun if you want to borrow it cheers Jay
na dont have a heat gun was going to get one or use the oven... 50d for a short time just slowly losens it... as long as u put it in the overn when cold as it can heat up slowly with the over... hmmmm might take u up on that.. was going to pull them off this arvo.. today im painting the once piece so with that off the lights are easy to get at
Paint the inside plastic BLACK, i done this and it makes them look very new! One thing i didnt do which i want to do is the Circular screw on thing that goes around the low beam round light! you know? yeah that thing i want to get chrome plated. It would make it look heaps good...please try it!!! you know it will look heaps nice Also how did you open the glass from the Head light? i used a fish filleter lol

Paint them the same colour as the car! Looks great imo! have seen it done on a few zeds and looks tops!
well the roof is jet black and the rest of the car is marble and the door seals and shit r just blue pearl... take ur pick lol

HID is not the solution! Our lights do not have the correct reflectors, like the 2000 model zeds. Sail your boat back home!
