I am really hoping someone out there can assist me. I am looking to hire a Nissian 300zx for my husband's 30th birthday - his dream car! I have tried every possible internet search with no success, if anyone could help me or point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it, Thanks.
Wowa! These cars are our pride and joy! As kind and generous as most people on this forum are, it might be difficult for one to part with there beloved as such BUT if you are going to find a Zed owner so generous, you are probably looking in the right place I think it's a great idea, and very sweet :zlove: U sound like u really know ur way to a blokes heart! LOL May i suggest that the best way to get around this is to buy one. I'm sure you'll love it almost as much as him! And let me tell you... For the price they come, u will be amazed at the quality and superiority of this car! (great value for money) If u look around u should be able to find a good turbo model for ~$11000 Oh and u might want to tell us what area u live in so that if there is such a soft heart out there, they can help u out. Yesterday maybe I just bought a convertible 2 days ago. If you asked me yesterday, I might have let you have the car, but it grows on you very quickly. I'm still going through the car, trying to figure out what I actually got, but I'm getting very attached. Don't be a scrooge ! BUY your husband one for his birthday !!
Maybe try exotic car hire etc, but the truth is that not many rental companys could justify the maintainence costs neccessary to keep a 300zx TT on the road and running well. Especially when you remember how most people treat a rental car.
Thanks I wll give that a try. I would love to buy him a 300 ZX, but unfortunately its slightly out of my present budget
Not to discourage you from your idea which is a great one but your best bet might be to organise for your husband to come for a ride with someone on a cruise, if you keep up to date on our coming events section, im sure someone can offer a spare seat in there car, might be at least one step closer, there is a tech day being organised aswel where there will be looking like at least 20 zeds there which he may find interesting aswel, i know its not what you want but its something i suppose

300zx hire ... shirt/hats ..... purchase .... should you want to follow up on the polo shirt/cap idea, there are two sources of supply on this forum ... 90ttz .. has supplied a great polo/cap each with a straight "Z" logo ... keza .. supplies polo/cap both with the logo of this 300zx forum and the option of a name on the polo .. both are great buys and would make a good present ....:zlove: :zlove: :zlove:
heh then u can come to melb and ill let him take my ride for a joy ride hah.... Just pgraded turbos, fuel system, ecu + injectors and zorst. Should be about 300rwkw+ now yay me! Ill let yas know when i return to oz in 3 weeks. He can take it for a quick run down calder park on the 1/4m strip.... 500$ a run

Well you are way ahead of me, we could organise a cruise in sydney, the calender is pretty packed over the next moth or so but im sure someone will organise something and im sure somone can offer a couple of spare seats
