    g'day,
possibly redoing interior but thinking about doing it in suede or something like a fabric which is easier to work with than vinyl.
where would i go to look for such material?
i'm in w.a. if that makes any difference.
i plan to do it myself, just want to know where to get the materials from
    cheers.

    Hey Jay...

See the thread about leather interior further down. Might be able to get a group buy price on installation. I'm going down there tomorrow to have a chat with Houndz

I will see what price he can do on the leather itself and compare it to leather direct in Perth CBD. Most I will pay from them is $1000 for 3 full hides ($70/sqm) including having perforated yellow made specially :)

Not expecting much change from $2500 total:rolleyes:

    Cheers

    thanks rob

yeh i've been watching that thread, interested to see what prices come back.
i'd really only want my doors done by a trimmer, the other pieces i'm happy to do myself, they just take time.
    cheers.

Guys i went there this morning!!

And must say it took me a little while to find, no signage yet ;)

Talked to Cam (Houndz) and the manager Graham, and they quoted me on installation and fabrics on all the panels in the car expept the seats

They have quite a large range of fabric, which ranges from Leather to velour to a special suade which does look nice

The manager gave me a quote and also mentioned that they do a lot of the show car interiors at events like autosalon and autotechnica, etc, and has won awards on numerous times, and better still they have done Z's in the past :D

Sounds like a great idea on a gb, got some quotes for different fabrics and because it was a club thing, a discount was given, all quotes totalled less than 2g installed, great deal imo

    See what you guys think

hey bud whatever you do do it in SUEDE

trust me its the best looking fabric and it looks AWSOME....its way easier to work with than leather and will not bubble up over time....

advantage: looks awsome and durability is great
    disadvantage: FKN expensive

    Can't make it down :(

Unexpected wheel alignment required (no kerb hit, just steering rack job being finished). Will come down on monday and have a chat.

Want to discuss a few options, including colour and materail options, perforation, and fixing the seat bolster. should be fun :)

    Cheers

    Yup

We can do piece work, bit by bit. The important thing is to let us know what you want to do in advance so that we can buy the fabric/leather/vinyl all at once to ensure there are no colour differences.

We can quote out the whole job and just do it in stages
