Can anyone recommend a good trimmer in Perth (preferably SOR) who I can use to get my seats retrimmed?
Also, what sort of price should I look at for this job?
What are the pros and cons to leather or vinyl?

My full retrim including doors and centre console etc cost just over $3100 in Italian leather, BUT I don't have any complaints about lifting door panels like others do who have done it cheaper.

Leather is tougher, and smells awesome.

    Get what you pay for.

    TTZED,

i'm looking into doing this aswell

the other tweed stuff maybe i can do that myself

but i doubt i can do the seats

i wonder if we can get a discount if we get a few perth guys doing it at the same time...

    Coincidence

Its been a couple of months since I logged on and saw this today. Im managing a trim shop and can give you a quote if you like. give me a call on 0431 899 760 and arrange a time to come in. Also trimming 2 Zeds at a time will be cheaper. We are based in Welshpool

    Cheers

    Make that 3

I too am looking to get this done.

I was going to order the hide locally in my prefered colours and get a fitter to cut it to shape and fit.

Maybe a groupbuy of sorts is on the offing here?

    Cheers

    Hey mate

Was just wondering do you re-trim the interior panels in the car as well, i'd be very interested if you can do that depending on what you could re-trim it with

    Thanks

    Not a problem.

If you guys are keen, then id suggest we tee up a time, maybe on a Saturday and come down to the workshop and show you what we have. We have leathers, vinyls printed fabrics and all the others. We have some micro suedes that i thought may be good for the doors and under dash.

We could do varying amounts of work from full retrim to door panels only.

If you can figure out a day where most can come, let me know and ill try to tee it up.

    i'm interested too

will probably have to do this in stages as money permits... maybe just the interior panels (not including doors) first.... then seats and doors thereafter...

can you tell me how much it would cost to retrim the dash of a 300? i have two at the moment and they are both out sitting in my gym room... can bring it down to get done pretty soon, i gather you know what it would entail? interested to see the $$ value of this?

I would be keen in coming down on saturday to see, depends on what time though, i don't have a ride and have a bbq at lunch... either early morning or late arvo....

To retrim two front seats in leather

If there a reputable mob and do good work i wouldn't expect change from 1300-1500. I payed 1350 the job was prob 8.5/10.

that is such a vague comment....

just because something is expensive, doesn't mean you are getting a top job...

it may or may not be true... depends on the skill of the person and quality of textiles.

    29th IS OK

The 29th should be a good day to come over. Can we say 10am?

We can quote using any fabrics and either one part or all of the car.

If a different time is better, let me know and ill tee it up for then
