..Drivers side window was working fine one day, then next day refused to go down. Passenger window works fine, so its not the lockout button.

Press the button, and you can hear a faint click, but nothing else.

    Any suggestions.

..I have tried search, and the only close result, had a broken/invalid link.

Don't want to point out the obvious but mine also stopped and it was

the switch connector had disconnected. So long ago and I'm 1000 K from the car, but I remember it was easy to get to, drivers side door, didn't remove the trim but I think I removed the switch or a panel in the door "handle", removing a little piece of carpet type trim to get to the screw rings a bell. But then just pushed together the multi-pin plug and all was well.Good luck:thumbsup:

    None of the above problems...>>

..checked them all, including solder joint in control box, everything ok. When the switch was pushed, the relays activated, and there was power out, so to cut a long story short, pulled out the entire mechanism (what a pain in the ass job) to find the motor was jammed.

A little bit of inventive mechanics to replace a tiny brush in the motor, and everything now works ok. Was even a bigger PITA to replace.

    Thanks for your replies.

    Regards GT
