...I went for a quiet night of boating last night with Wooksta in his 600+hp jetboat after his regular boating companion Draco couldn't make it due to other committments! :p

Gotta say, was absolutely awesome fun. The acceleration, the turning, the g forces... just awesome!!! Racing happens usually once a month at Baldivis. Next meet is 10th of December.

You can even go for rides just to see what its like. Cost is about the $100 mark from memory - I highly recommend it!

I even got a trophy for my troubles last night with Lyall and myself winning the Restricted class. :p

Big thanks to Draco and Wooksta for the oppurtunity of having me navigate for a night. Certainly something I won't forget in a hurry!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

For some other really BIG pics (ie over 1Mb each uber high resolution - I couldn't be bothered resizing them), click HERE. Sadly the videos didn't come out too well.

    Looks Fun!

Those things handle very well don't they, considering that they're actuaylly on water rather than bitumen. I'm always amazed at how tight they can turn around the bends.

How deep is the water in those tracks???

    Too right they can!

Water was about 2 foot deep in the centre, alot of it elsewhere was much more shallow!

Glad to be able to send you home with something for the effort Franz...

It was bloody great that you could hop in and give it a go - you would be surprised how many people get frigid feet when you ask if they want a turn in the nav seat. I'll be sure to give you a call next time Draco can't make it...........You hearing me Draco?:p:p:p
