yes, reek ..gt4 certainly has the art of the lens ..check out his pics of our last cruiZe also .. equally impressive ..!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Awesome Day! Big thankyou to Greg for organising a great day. Next time i hope to not be rock bottom on the power list but hey look at the stuff i won Also awesome pics guys keep em coming!
was interesting... but no ticket. checked my license, told me that they weren't following me long enough to give me a ticket but 'next time we will give you a ticket just for fun and you can take it to court'. It sounded like he was suggesting that i was speeding and driving dangerously, but he never actually accused me of anything and didn't even ask me what speed I was doing. I get the feeling that he was disappointed that I was not a younger driver with a bad driving record that he could bully. Also suggested that my 'friends' must be waiting down the road for me and they should 'go through their cars and see what we find' ... strange, considering that he didn't seem interested in going through my car to see what he could find. I can only guess that they saw 3 sports cars and just assumed that we were street racing. If he tried to give me a speeding ticket I was going to show him my piss-poor dyno results and say 'how could I be speeding?'
RE: cops Fewwwww...Good thing he let you off. I had a heart attack when the sirens went off. I just got my first speeding ticket the other day, lost 6 points in one hit. On a one point good behaviour bond, would of been screwed if he pulled me of. Thank god you were leading...Glad nothing happend though dude, Good stuff.
what a hot day! i was expecting my zed to croak on the dyno but pretty happy with the result (192.0kw at 12psi). the dyno sheet has a date with the laminating machine best stock tt - part of this award goes to zedcare :zlove: scruffiest zed - umm .. no comment haha and a huge thanks to uncle greg, uncle baz and the dyno dudes
pretty shitty stuff, flame ..!!!!! and they wonder why we love them love them so much ..!!!!:thumbsdown:
I thought it was Sunday as well! Sooooo pissed off that i didnt get to go.... i wanted to win the wooden spoon!
Wow, I had a great day - and second highest overall HP !!!! ... followed extremely closely by R33K in 3rd position A HUGE thanks to Mark(zed4life) for preventing my car from exploding when it went on the dyno  I had a great day and it was also very nice to put faces(and first names) to a lot of members that i've conversed with on the forum for all this time.
pfft, 3rd place by 0.1 KW! was happy with 216 @ 15psi, it was in 36c heat! Could see boost trailing off on my graph at high rpm, max power being at aboput 5500 RPM. Suspect this is due to having stock turbos which cant flow anymore power and stock intercoolers.... /me looks at getting 555cc injectors, custom vertical core FMIC and GT 2535's....
yep, well done benny ,,, both your car and "dull red's" machine looked absolutely spiffy .. does REEK know that you passed a puff of wind at the crucial moment to get that extra 0.1 kw to toss him for second spot ..??!!!
27,000 posts on the dyno day ..!!! how could anyone get that wrong ..??:wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko::wacko:
 yeah, dyno figures don't come much closer than that!! And Jamie's(DullRedZed) body kit is awesome too, he did a very good fibreglassing job on it.
Re: 27,000 posts on the dyno day ..!!! how could anyone get that wrong ..?? haha, I think that the date was in the thread title, so no need to search even:LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL: Remember "AMEC TECH DAY IS ON SATURDAY, NOT SUNDAY"
was a good day !! ( longish ) i was sure when i left that i wasnt going to get the trophy for the NA with my not so healthy running engine for the dyno she has done beta. i didnt have much more luck at the track was bloody hot out there too first run was at 1pm not sure of the temp but was HOT i think i did about 4 or 5 laps and as i came onto the main straight she didnt have as much power and as i entered turn 1 i looked at the temp gauge and was about 6mm off hitting the H mark so i took its very easy till i could exit into the pits. let the engine run for about 5-10mins with the bonnet up while she cooled down to mid needle and then let her sit for 10mins and released some pressure out of the radiator so i could check the coolant level, the coolant was ok then cranked her over again and was sitting normal but i thought it best to pull the pin on the rest of the arvo. drove home with aircon on and the temp didnt rise at all so im hoping was just an exceptionally hot day and not enough cooling. under the circumstances i did an ok time of 63.66 only 0.8 of a sec off my best on a much hotter day and car not running the best. was good to catch up the everyone and meet some people i havent met before also, see ya at the next event i can make it to :thumbsup:
