SVC = Single Voice Call, DVC = Dual Voice Call Just dont ask me what the benefits are and what exactly they do. If i remember right they are for dealing with different resistance and gives you more options in wiring them up but i dont know alot more than that.
Here goes Integrated Car PC with motirised VGA LCD Touchscreen (ie its all in the dashboard) Mini keyboard and glidepad mouse installed for convcenience. PC functions include - Radio, TV, DVD, VCD, SVCD, all PC multimedia. DVD-ROM - CD Burner combo, 40GB HDD and 256MB Memory. WiFi Internet access, GPS Satellite Navigation. I probably missed some stuff, but it is a PC so it can do anything a STD PC can do. Connect to DDL connector for access to the vehicle ECU. Runs all PC applications for car diagnostics like datascan, Ztalk and Conzult. Connected to 1 x 600 Watt Amp in the boot which runs 1 x 12" Pioneer SUB and the OEM rears. Also assisted with an external active cross-over. 200Watt Amp under Passenger seat using a hi-pass filter runs the OEM fronts.
does your lcd screen also accept cd's I see alot of single din motorised lcd screens that also have the ability to play dvd's etc but they dont support a vga hookup which i'd much prefer. plus they dont have touch screen. what i want is basically a deck that has an lcd screen 7" motorised that pops out, has the ability to either use the screen to play dvd's or mp3s etc OR switch to like an aux channel that allows my vga in with a hookup to the pc for the touch screen. So that when i dont have the pc on I still can have music etc.
Re: does your lcd screen also accept cd's Mine is a double DIN arrangement, and I can play Media without booting the computer, but I can't listen to the radio, or TV without booting the computer.
i've got this on my shopping list... EBAY LICK... I MEAN LINK its got dvd support touch screen USB interface to interface with carputer. I'm probably going to get me one of them... they'd look really good in the car
With out any modifications what size speakers are our doors limited too? how deep can the speaker be before it fouls up with the window. Just after an ideal size for easy fit .
*bump* anyone... ive been speaking to peterjoh and his look pretty nice and are comming along. but anyone know any already being sold as i'd like to install my speakers soon.. really wanna get the music cranking when the car is back on the road
nah not 300zx specific pods, they have "mutli fit" pods at autobarn etc. but will look terrible in the zed, i had to fibreglass my own in both my zeds, and for a set of quality custom pods your lookin at atleast $400 for 2 way splits, i had 3 way pods done for $700 and they were awesome.
Door pods.. Get some custom made ones, well worth the money you spend on them. Mine look a million bucks. Had a mate make them up out of fibreglass and cover them in vinyl. Very happy with them! :thumbsup: Cheers, Will
