i gave pete/wykked a buzz yesterday arvo, did what you suggested, still no luck.
I didnt make it clear on the phone to jen, but when i turn the key, i get nothing, no 'tick..tick' like its trying to turn over, i get no sound at all. (thanks for helping out though! I appreciate it, my dad was there with me but he knows shit all about jap cars/turbos etc)
Ive had a few mates who know a fair bit about cars look at it and ive told alot of guys online my prob on silvia forums etc, they are saying its electrical/wires thats not working, as im getting nothing. stereo/windows/lights everything works, just doesnt want to turn on. Ive been told it could be a wire going from ignition to battery thats come lose or something? if so, that wont be hard to a auto electrition to fix i dont think. Or it could be something to do with my immobiliser ? :s any suggestions, im going to search for some mobile mechanic/auto electrition and if i havnt got this prob fixed by tomorrow arvo ill give one of them a buzz and get one of them to come down to my place.Any ideas/suggestions?...... thanx :( btw this all happend after a 5 min drive, i turned my car off, went to turn it on 5 mins later, and it wouldnt turn on. nothing was unusal when driving, but i swapped boost guages before that drive, maybe i knocked a wire or something.

Have ya tried checking the wiring . . .

that was in the vicinity of the area you were working on?
Also, have u tried disconnecting the battery overnight, reconnecting it and seein if it starts up?

Sounds exactly like the immobiliser >

doing an excellent job of "immobilising".})
If you can disable it yourself, so can ANY car thief, in which case it's a waste of space. If your car is a manual, try clutch starting it (with the ignition key turned on). That will at least let you know if you have spark, in which case it's not the immobiliser and more likely the starter motor.
Grab an Auto Electrician, and save yourself the stress mate.Cheers

    Could be the starter motor>>

either way an auto electrician can test out if the starter motor is getting power, i could be the immoboliser it depends where the immboliser is set up at, at the coil or at the fuel pump or at both.A quick thing you can do they might work, find the starter motor and give it a few bangs with something like a club lock or hammer, than try to start the car. If it works your starter motor is just playing up.

    If you get no clicks

its sounds like your imobliser, When you first turn the key to the ignition position you should hear the fuel pump prime. If this doesnt happen, your imobiliser is dissconnecting the fuel pump. Then when you turn the key to the start position (momentarly) you get nothing..... the imboliser is not allowing the signal to be sent to the starter relay. try bridging the connections on the start motor. go off the positive post side (you can follow the wire down from the battery to the terminal) short the connection to the Small spade connector, (i decent sized screwdriver will do nicely) now that you just scared the shit out of yourself .... hehe you will know what I mean when it happens... try again let the motor turn over for a few seconds, it should start. If it does there is only 3 things it could be... 1 the immobliser doing its job a little to well.... or the starter relay is gone... or even more remote starter solonide is faulty.Have fun... If you get stuck give me a bell and I will explain it a bit better.CheersAnthony

That would be my first guess

The solenoid on the starter motor may not be functioning properly. Have you tried hitting the starter motor (lightly) with small hammer? This usually gets it working.
Also do the light dim slightly when you try and kick it over?

thanx guys, ECU is saying its CAS?!

A couple guys from the silvia forums came over yesterday and had a look for me, one did a test on the ECU and it flashed 11 times, and the code for 11. is
Code 11. Crank angle sensor circuit
Possible Cause: Wiring fault(connector), faulty sensor.   frikken bajezus, so theres another thing i can add to the list of 'what might be stoping my car from starting'.I dont know where my starter motor is.... so i dont want to go hitting random objects under my bonnet. :( Zmokin, ive never been good with electrical stuff/wires... what you said makes a little sense to me, but no way in hell am i game enough to do that. :| I dont trust myself doing stuff like that yet. :s oh and when i do turn the key, i get a little 'wzzz' sound from the rear of the car, one of the guys yesterday told me thats the fuel pump? Thanks for the help, I got someone coming over tonight with a spare CAS (hopefully he can make it!) and if that doesnt work looks like tomorrow im giving a auto electrition a call, do any of you guys in Vic recommend anyone? my car is stranded at home, so a mobile one would really come in handy.
    Thanks..

Looks like you might have more than 1 thing

wrong because you should be able to crank the engine without cas, just engine won't start

You should look for burned fuses, relays

    or fusible links
