Some pics for the doubters, to save them a bit of fact checking maybe? Can't believe I didn't spot this before, it's from the owner's manual in the glove box of my 08/1989 JDM TT. The 3rd pic, bottom entry on the list :)

So reporting back after having a basic service at Wallards. Very happy with their service and Brett seems like a great guy to deal with. Although they are not zed specialists, they are familiar and comfortable working on them. My zed has a new permanent mechanic!

Great to hear Col, thanks very much for reporting back!
I'll need to get mine booked in then I think, any chance you could pm me what a basic service costs these days?

Thanks for reporting back Col, helps others :)
Hope I'm not being rude here but what was the scope of the service mate?

It was just a basic minor 250k service. They gave it a good once over and were given the go ahead to fix anything that needed doing. They ended up replacing leaking steering rack boots and noted a couple of other things that will need fixing next service. Extremely happy with their service and communication.

I like the sound of that, the way they found an unrelated problem and nailed it then flagged some other minors to check next time. That shows good training and record keeping. It implies they're in it for the long haul.
