Hi, I'm having head gaskets replaced due to a leak and since the engine is coming out and the heads off I thought it might be a good time to replace the turbos.
Car is mostly stock and I'm not looking for huge numbers, it is running about 200kw at the wheels which is enough for me. What have you used that fit and worked well that was not too expensive? Who rebuilds original turbos? Around Sydney NSW. thanks

OEM turbos are no longer available.

In Sydney check in with GCG or Precision turbos about options for rebuild, high flow, ball bearing cores etc

High flowed turbos would be more than enough for 200rwkw. Hypergear have had good reviews https://hypergearturbos.com/product/300zx/
Stock injectors should be fine for your power goals but you might want to consider bigger injectors for safety if you later decide to add more boost.

Have you had any experience with the Mamba Turbos? They have the ball bearing cores which i think would be a good upgrade over the 30yo tech in the factory turbos at about the same price.

I can't really comment I haven't used them. Both of the shops I mentioned would be able to rebuild your turbos with BB cores. My concern with cheap replacements would be if the fit and packaging is actually correct.
