The joys of having aftermarket suspension, and going back to stock.

I need the top plates that hold the standard strut piston in place.

If you are chasing the front upper cups (see diagram) I would suggest you buy new ones because they come with the rubber spring mount attached and as far as I know there are no aftermarket ones available

I went through the same thing when I went from Teins to Agx. I fitted new everything except for the top plate. It is absolute madness to fit used seals and rubbers into your suspension if you are planning on keeping your zed

On that picture; very top above where you circled there is the nut, gasket, then the plate I require.

That's the only part I needed also ...... I thought they'd be kicking around everywhere but I found them difficult to acquire.

p.s in the parts diagram I used, the gasket is above the top plate  That would work well wouldn't it

Sorry, my mistake. Of course the gasket goes above the top plate (under the body) ….. I must have had a brain fart when I posted.

I told you the top plate was hard to come by !!! I understand they are no longer available as a new part …… Imagine the hundreds that went to scrap still attached to zed write offs :(
