Looking for other options to explore with an ongoing problem I have at the moment.

So originally my car wouldn't start, no power to anything.

Changed the 2 big green relays in the car, nothing still so jump started it and it went. (Battery went flat).

Took it to an auto elect said an aftermarket cable (maybe immobilser) was draining the battery. So they cut the cable and draining problem fixed. Battery is fully charged no dramas with it.

Got it home, tried to lock it, wouldn't central lock. So I was thinking the cable they cut maybe had something to do with it.

Couple of hours later went to wash it and doors worked, car started took it for a 20km drive and no dramas.

This morning started normal, but every time I tapped the brakes the HICAS light would flick on for half a second.
Went to maccas to get a coffee came back out no power again to the car, moved the relays around and nothing.

Rang the auto elect. They went out to the car and worked no dramas.

Not sure what to look at now, they didn't know what it could be! Get no power to anything and then couple of hours later seems to be back to normal.

    Any help or ideas appreciated!

    Thanks

Did some searching and previously I had problem with the door light not going off. Could it be immobilser related?

The hicas light may be unrelated to the other problem. If the hicas light is coming on when you tap the brakes try toping up the power steering reservoir as when it is low the hicas light comes on and if it is border line low it may be that braking changes it just enough to flash the light.
    Cheers
