At some point they will be, i cant live with them long term. I should clarify "fast" as its not fast everywhere. it's slow slow slow faaaaaaaaaaaaaasst change gear. A collection of random go fast bits does not make a good or even fast car point to point on Australian roads.

its not so much that im fearful of driving them im fearful being embarressed by a stock standard car with balance coming up behind me and leaving me for dead with a baby onboard sticker. it could easily happen were i drive.

you like to make your own parts and i like the look of custom made parts. i have zero interest in drag racing as ive probably said a few times already but your car is my favorite z on this forum because of the one off original parts
    and NO BLING.

oh and ive owned a z for nearly 2 years and my wife has not once been in it. now in my case that's a bonus but you might want your wife to come along. id suggest the further down the extreme path you go the less she will want to get in it.

Hey JB, hope you dont mind me responding to your comment here, I didnt want to take that thread off topic is all.

What I meant was, I believed you were talking about me not East Coast Z and I was simply poking fun by mentioning the fact that I believed that user sold his Z a few months back and got out of the game.

Seriously though, would the Z fit the R35 3.8l? Whilst I dont like the idea of an American motor in the Z, a motor from the same family of cars is one I'd entertain.

But surely such an engine would be worth bloody 35k or something on it's own, right?

Ahhh you are of course correct. thats what happens when you work 18 hrs straight then drive 5hrs and then sit at the airport for a further 7hrs waiting for the red eye because your tight arse company books you on Jetstar. Well it backfired on them because the excess baggage will cost them $150. Jet star charge $15 per kilo over. I hate jetstar they were hiring blankets for $10 i think they even tried to charge a guy $5 for using his own jacket as a blanket.

5 bux for using his own jacket!
    Haha!

What do you do over there if you dont mind my asking JB?
I only ask as I've recently put in for a couple of jobs out that way - 1 in Perth and the other in Geraldton.

I work in oil and gas mostly, some horizontal drilling and some pilot mining projects. I have developed pretty specialised skills that mean I don't really have any particular work catagory. I'm a mechanic, engineer, chemist and, most importantly, a labourer. With so many skills my company didn't know what catagory to pay me in so they chose labourer for some reason.

Hey guys, how does the 2k front bar look on a Z with VeilSide skirts and rear?

    Look any good together?

And Rob, (if you're there) how does the clearance go compared to a veilside front bar? It's not as ... elongated, right ? The 2k bar is less likely to scrub out on slight inclines, I mean?

I did look at the 2k front bars on your website Rob, and yeah, I just am wanting to make sure it looks the goods with the existing body kit, and is a tad bit narrower.

While I have you Rob, do you still have my address, and could you PM me a Courier cost please?

If you need a residential address in place of my PO Box (that you might still have) I am happy to provide, though having it sent to the post office is preferable.

That'd be with turn signals and new harness aswell if that's a factor.

    Please and thank you.
