New Injectors in Old Z

    Hey,

    So I'm looking at upgrading my injectors and am a little confused about the new/old, s1/s2 conversions.

    I'm looking at the Nismo 740cc injectors. So I know need to get new pigtail connectors for s1 to s2 but I'm also seeing these "early to late style" adapter kits (like this one on CZP https://conceptzperformance.com/czp...0-94-twin-turbo-tt-z32-16618-vp100_p_7731.php )

    Now do I need those brackets for the NIsmo 740cc or are they for non-nissan modern injectors?

    I went through this myself just recently and ended up with S2 JECS Yellow Top 555's

    I had to purchase the complete kit S2 injectors - S1 engine which includes the injector collars (which secures them to the plenum) and various rubbers + wiring adaptors. Got them from e-bay.
    I had to confirm with the supplier weather the kit was suitable with the Jecs Yellow Tops. The answer was 'YES' and the wiring adaptors had to be made to accept the JECS Yellow Top connectors. They must be different to all the other S2 fuel injector connectors I figured.

    Are your injectors Series1 style or S2?
    If S1 then they should just Plug and Pray to the S1 engine. If S2 and your engine is S1, then the adaptor kit mentioned above is the way to go.

    i have 650cc sard injectors with the collars req s1 if u want :p
