When you say you work for government department. That can mean anything from Centralink, police, hospitals, federal government, etc... But you ain't living in ACT and you don't park your Alfa 10m from parliament house! On the other hand Holden does make other types of cars that suite government representatives like: Senator, Grange in HSV range and cars like Barina, Cruze, Captiva, Commodore "sedan"... As Holden/Ford/Mitsubishi in recent years have moved them production plants to Asian countries.... I as a tax payer now don't give rats ass what you gonna drive... In states that is different story...
Seriously??? Do you know how many US servicemen doing duty in Japan come home with a bit of Japanese Auto Exotica? Skylines in particular were popular as they weren't sold in the US.
