    Just recommending to anyone that wishes to get the disgustingly hard-to-remove windscreen wipers off.

    Buy a "battery terminal puller" (currently $8 at Supercheap Auto)

    It will save you From a lot of Pain, Time or Money to replace a cracked windscreen.

    They generally won't come off unless they're in the standing up position. With them up, just rock left & right, forwards & backwards with a little pull pressure & they'll release.

    You DO realize that you have just denied a legion of Z Owners the thrill of slamming a 10lb Sledge-hammer into their Windscreens, don't you???:eek:
    SHAME ON YOU!!!!:bash::rofl::br:

    Funny thing is they are so easy to get off once you fold the wiper out :D.
    But oh so hard if you don't :rofl:

    QLDZDR: Yes that's the one. While it may look chunky, it fits fine. Just the jaws don't quite open up at the widest point of the wipers, so it needs to slide in to place via the thinner end.

    To everyone else: Yes I agree wipers should come off easy without a puller. A few gentle taps/wiggles should release them (with the wiper arms folded up). My wipers unfortunately like some others people (via google searching), did not come loose with ease. The puller was the end solution I took and I recommend as a First Solution: For anyone that uses Search function here, after their wipers don't come off with ease.

    My cracked windscreen came about via leaning on it while trying to put upward pressure under the wiper arm, while my dad tried to wiggle the wiper arm off.
    Yes I had protected my windscreen, but it cracked anyway with very little applied pressure.
    ---
    Side note: the 14 mm nuts holding the wipers down, were very hard to remove as it felt like they were torqued down and the under side of the wiper shaft opening did show evidence of being over tightened. Via factory or previous owner.. I don't know.
