    Thank you to the organisers...

for organising such a lovely event.

I had a top time and it was so good to see both old and new faces.

The majority of Zds were seriously beautiful. Well looked after. So much enthusiasm by everyone and willing to exchange information.

Just like so many other proud Z32 owners, I'm also very proud to be part of such a fantastic community . Respect. :zlove:

    Lil' Baz's Zedfest #7, Orange 2016, Wrap-Up (Warning: Word'sy 'n' Pic Heavy)...

Hi to all of you out there in Forum land? :D

Sorry that it has taken me a few days to get this up, but here we go?

First off, I?d really like to make a big shout out to each and every one of you who came along over the course of the weekend to Zedfest #7, 2016, ? whether it was for the whole event, overnight, a day, or even just for a couple of hours to attend the cruise or the Show & Shine! Without those of you that come, there is no Zedfest, and it is for all who make the effort to attend, that we organisers (of this year?s, and of each of the previous 6 events) contort ourselves into painful knots to do it for?

And for those of you that tried, and could not come due to work, family, mechanical issues, or other commitments, we?re hopeful that you?ll be able to make in 2018 to wherever it is decided that Zedfest #8 will be? We can assure you? It is always a very worthwhile way to spend your Easter Long Weekend? ;)

Now to my thoughts and experiences at Zedfest #7, 2016?

For myself and SaintZ (Leah), the weekend really began when the ACT crew (ourselves, IB, Zcar91, and I am Eviil) and our honorary ACT crew member from VIC (RedZedMikey) linked up with the Southern NSW crew (ProckyZ89, KandyZ, ZedXTT, and Alana) in Yass for our first combined convoy leg to Cowra, and then the second convoy leg from Cowra to Orange?

Meeting up at the Yass Service Centre...

A truly rare, but wonderful sight... Judy in the drivers' seat of IB's Zed...

    Cruisin' to Cowra...

It was, thankfully, an uneventful run, and we (mostly) made good time, arriving at the Caravan Park (and assorted alternate accommodation venues) around mid-afternoon for check-in?

Once check-in, it wasn?t too long until the small QLD contingent arrived after their fateful journey south that had been fraught with much misfortune for MagicMike?s Zed (imperilled by blow-out?s and fuel pump/surge-tank issues)? :(

After some quick diagnostics on MagicMike?s silver Zed, and an all too brief rest, the organisers (ProckyZ89, MagicMike, and myself) and our amazing partners (KandyZ and SaintZ) got the Welcome BBQ fired-up to feed the hungry masses under the massively appreciated guidance, supervision, and cooking of our very own Super-Chef, Judy ? the amazing Wife of IB?

    Judy? You rock!

After a feed, we all began to relax a little, have a few cold one?s, catch-up with friends mostly not seen since the previous Zedfest in Gunnedah back in 2014, meet new faces and make new friends, and even welcome back old faces into the fold - like Benny_C who had seen the error of his ways in selling his Zed and ABANDONING us, had purchased another Zed, and was once again where he belonged? Sinking beers, and once again, entertaining us all thoroughly with his very own, patented, brand of hilarity?

The next morning most of us slept in, getting up late for the relaxed departure of ZF7?s traditional Saturday Cruise? We headed off around 11:20am, and made our way to our first stop? Circle Road at Lake Burrendong Dam?

    Waiting for the pre-Cruise briefing...

Procky giving the pre-cruise, and convoy ettiquette, briefing...

It wasn?t long, though, ?till we hit our first hiccup? As we turned on to Lake Burrendong Way (which was to be our path for the majority of the cruise), we immediately encountered a stretch of road being resurfaced that hadn?t been there 4 weeks ago? My heart immediately stopped? And I said aloud to my co-driver/navigator, Robbo, ?Oh no! Joe (Zoe NZX300) is gonna kill me!!!??

I crossed my fingers that I?d survive the day after Joe got his hands on me, and, with Zedmd close behind, pushed on? My saving graces were that the dirt surface had already been heavily compacted, reducing dust, and that it was only a very short patch of roadworks ? maybe a couple of hundred metres? I?m pleased to say that, despite considering turning around, Joe, too, both pushed on, and forgave me for our unforeseen road hazard?

Once past this unexpected hitch, we forged on, and traversed to roughly 80km to our first stop, our Photo-Op with the panoramic view of Lake Burrendong and its Dam as our backdrop? We had a stop there of around 50mins or so to take photos of our cruise group, wait for Steve (zxr300) to retrieve his nose-panel (which had flown off around Stuart-town), allow Graham (gmbrezzo) to catch-up (having left his wallet back at the park, and then accidentally having taken a wrong turn to a different part of Lake Burrendong)?

Once all were again present, and all had taken their fill of photographs, we made our way to the Wellington Caves Complex and Caravan Park, for both our lunch stop, and the local tourism feature of the cruise ? a Wellington Caves Tour of the Cathedral Cave?

For those of you that couldn?t make it, sadly, things, at this point in proceedings, went rather seriously sideways ? and not in the fun break traction kinda way? Despite insisting that our group pre-order our meals, the Wellington Caves Café were catastrophically underprepared for a group of our size? In the first instance, it took almost an hour and fifteen minutes from arrival to get everyone?s meal tickets paid for, and if that wasn?t bad (or embarrassing) enough, in the second instance, it took more than two hours, also from arrival, to get the last members of our group (tHeSmUrF and his partner) fed?

I thank all of you for your patience in the agonising wait to receive your meals, and thank also the 21 of you whose superhuman patience allowed you to stay past the disaster of lunch, and join SaintZ, KandyZ, ProckyZ89 and I for our 2:30pm tour of the Cathedral Cave (which I thought was tr?s-awesome!) that didn?t take place until ALL were fed, at around 3:40pm, I think? I would also like to make it abundantly clear that I perfectly understand the decision made by those of you who chose, again, after the disaster of lunch, to just head back to your accommodation venues, or homes (for those few like seventieschick, Michelle, and her family who made the effort to travel and join us for the cruise) to de-stress after such an unpleasant dining experience?

I can only offer my sincerest apologies to everyone about the unforgiveable delays in getting you all fed? I was mortified at how the Wellington Caves Café mishandled our group, which was obvious enough that several made a point to take me aside or of talking to me at their tables or where they happened to stand, waiting, trying to assure me that it was not my fault, and that no blame was being laid at my feet ? I truly appreciated that! But one can?t, as the one who organised the lunch-stop and the Caves Tour, not feel a great responsibility for the overall failure of these two critically important elements of the traditional Zedfest Saturday Cruise? It?s certainly not something I wanted Zedfest 2016 to be remembered for?

    :sorry:

Inside the Cathedral Cave on our tour...

A pic from the Japanese Gardens...

Well? After all of the unpleasantness of lunch, capped off by what was actually a really fun and interesting tour of the Cathedral Cave, ProckyZ89, KandyZ, SaintZ and myself, the very last two Zeds to leave the Wellington Caves Complex, had ourselves a very quick walk around the Japanese Gardens, and made our own way back to Orange via the Highway? It was a completely quiet, uneventful, drive back, and when we finally did arrive back, it was high time we celebrated a dear friend?s birthday?

So, ProckyZ89, KandyZ, Robbo, SaintZ, and myself, headed into the CBD with the Birthday Boy to celebrate Damien?s (Am I Eviil?s) Womb-Escape-Day by buying him dinner at the Digger?s Brasserie at the Orange Ex-Service?s Club? They were truly fantastic, huge(!), meals, and paired with a few drinks both during and after dinner, a great time was had by the Birthday Boy, and by those of us celebrating with him!

Once we returned from our celebratory hijinks, we joined the QLD crew on the driveway outside their cottage (which had informally been designated social-central), and continued to renew friendships, make new one?s (for example, with Benny_C?s equally entertaining partner, the awesome Bec!), swap two (or more, as the case may be) years? worth of stories, sink an utterly irresponsible amount of booze, and relax the chill Orange night away?

The night?s main entertainment saw Anti and bRACKET return in the late evening with their tails between their legs to tell the kind of story that could be nothing but true ? you just couldn?t have make that sh!t up! They shared a story involving a dude named ?Lance?, ?$400? cash, a ?VL?, an immediate ?Breakdown?, a ?Rage-Burnout?, ?Tyre Smoke? that it turned out wasn?t actually ?Tyre Smoke?, a ?Free-Spinning Clutch?, ?$70 worth of hitchhiking?, and Hendo and Logan left alone with the broken ?Chaser? to ?keep each other warm? whilst Anti and bRACKET tried to figure out how to "rescue" them? All the while proclaiming (which, in all honesty, really didn?t help their case terribly) their collective, and absolute, sobriety?

In the end, after much begging and grovelling, our collective support in the form of both laughter and tears, and finally promises of monetary (and perhaps even other forms of? ) compensation, shineyzx grabbed an important few roadies, reluctantly handed over the keys for his SS Commodore support vehicle and trailer to bRACKET, and disappeared to play Mechanic-in-Shining-Armour for (to quote Disney, ha, ha!) those four ?Poor unfortunate souls??

They eventually returned some hours later with the ?VL? abandoned to its own fate, and the ?Chaser? securely, if dejectedly, perched upon shineyzx?s trailer, being hauled in by the SS?

Major Kudos to shineyzx for showing true Zed spirit in dropping everything to help out those in need!

    The "Chaser"... Broken and Beaten... Rage-Burnout - 1... Clutch - 0...

It truly became the story that just kept on giving, and the more alcohol we imbibed, the funnier it got? Right up until I poured myself into bed at 0418 we, collectively, continued to suffer bouts of breathlessness, and tears of laughter at the ?Boys? scarcely believable evening?s ?Antics??

The next morning saw us all going through the essential motions of tarting up our cars for the next of the traditional elements of every Zedfest weekend? The all-important Show & Shine? Thanks to the efforts of Cara, aka: Mrz. Magic, who had organised an interview with MagicMike about the Show & Shine which was published in the local Orange paper, a number of locals made the trip to check us out having seen the article, and even two local, and very recent Zed owners came down and joined us, even displaying their newly acquired Zeds at our Show & Shine? I'm led to believe that a follow-up piece will also be written with photos taken on the day? ;)

Again, great Kudos to Mrz. Magic for organising the publicity with the locals which netted the Forum two brand new members!

Not too bad a turnout, I reckon...

The Show & Shine ran for about 3 hours and, once judging was complete, everyone peeled off for a late lunch, and to relax for a few hours prior to the last of Zedfest?s traditional weekend elements, the Presentation Dinner?

The Presentation Dinner for Zedfest #7, 2016, was held at the Orange Ex-Service?s Club, in their enormous Coral Sea Function Room? This fantastic room sported our very own staffed bar, and two large screens, one either side of the front of the room, which enabled us to play a slideshow (set up by SaintZ) of all of the photographs that Robbo, SaintZ and I had taken over the course of the weekend.

Some of the evening's guests - Peter (Geron), Joe (ZOE NZX300), Mary (Joe's partner), Lia (Zedboy's partner) Matt (Zedboy), and the two new members that joined us at the Show & Shine (I'm really sorry, but I don't remember your names  )...

Our talented Master of Ceremonies, Karl (90TTZ)... [TIS]

With the ever awesome Karl (90TTZ) as the Master of Ceremonies for our Presentation Dinner, who taught us some hugely interesting trivia about our beloved Z32?s (quite a number of titbits I definitely hadn?t known!), we ate our meals (which by all accounts were great!), eventually reaching the pivotal point of the evening ? the presentation of the trophies for the Show & Shine held that very morning/early afternoon? Presented by MagicMike, with me as his trophy-monkey :)rofl:), the awards were as follows:

    **********

    The Longest Drive Award: zxr300

Steve and his partner travelled approximately 1,100km? from the Sunshine Coast to Orange, taking the award away by a margin of more than 100km?

    **********

    The Hard Luck Award: Tonto

Although not himself, currently, a Zed owner, Matty eminently deserved this award for not only having to drive Chauffeur-drive MagicMike [for reasons I?ll allow him to elaborate on, or not], something that would try anyone?s patience, [eh Mrz. Magic, lol?], but also for having to do a not inconsiderable portion of the repair of said vehicle after its spectacular blow-out and the spate of fuel pump and surge tank-related breakdowns on the QLD convoys imperilled journey south to Orange...

Matty bore this whole, painful, Zed-ache with an impressive level of stoicism and loyalty, and with the exception of the language that one must needs use (as it?s just the done thing), when fixing a Zed, did so without complaint, missing the cruise alongside his charge?s unfortunate passenger/owner, and tirelessly pitching in to right the mechanical wrongs of the silver beast once owned by the well-known Wizard?

    **********

The As Nissan Intended Award: Zedboy

Zedboy?s Zed, despite being mildly modified, has used ONLY Nissan OEM parts for the purposes of those modifications, whether they be Z32 OEM parts, or OEM parts from other Nissan models ? i.e. Nissan 350Z rims, and, I believe [correct me where I?m wrong, here], R34 GTR Skyline Brake upgrade, just as examples? Given the use of only Nissan OEM parts to improve his Zed, both inside and out, it was felt that Zedboy?s efforts well suited the spirit of how the organisers, personally, felt about this award?

A fine example of a Zed, congrats, Zedboy!

    **********

    The Lowrider Award: Lil? Baz

A hotly contested award this year, it was eventually down to just two cars at the end ? Zedboy and myself? Using an ?Eyebrow? measurement technique employed by a number of RTA?s and Constabulary?s, the measurement was made by measuring from the ground to the apex/highest point of the guard, for each of the Zed?s four wheels? Once all four measurements were obtained, an average was then made of the four, to give a final score for comparison against all other contenders?

Long story short, it was ultra-close, coming right down to the wire? In the end my Zed was able to just pip Zedboy?s at the post by a mere? 3mm?

    **********

    The In Car Entertainment (I.C.E.) Award ? Runner-Up: Zcar91

The second of Zcar91?s Zeds at 2016?s Zedfest, first owned by Zcar91, sold to Zedmd, painted a magnificent blue, installed with a very well thought out and executed I.C.E. system, sold back to Zcar91 just last year, and driven again to this year?s Zedfest by its brief owner, Zedmd?

    Wow? That?s a bit like your sister?s, father?s, uncle?s, niece?s, former room-mate, lol!

The sound quality, and install quality of this car (credit to Zedmd), is great? Missing out only a little in midrange Bass, this system was fantastic to both listen to, and to look at!

    **********

The In Car Entertainment (I.C.E.) Award ? Winner: 90TTZ

For anyone that knows Karl?s beautiful Zed, winning this award will come as no surprise, and 2016 is not first time this stunning Zed has taken the top I.C.E. trophy, and may well, until another Zed steps up and throws down the Gauntlet, not be the last?

When it comes to ?In-Car-Entertainment?, this Zed delivers? It boasts a car PC, a head-unit that can play DVD?s, many other details that well and truly exceed my poor knowledge of such things, and is all tied in together with impressive sound? Well deserved, once again, Karl!

    **********

The Best Interior Award ? Runner-Up: ZOE NZX300

If you?ve not seen Joe?s stellar example of a 300ZX, then you are truly missing out? There is not a detail missed, and it is probably fair to say that it is the most perfect Z32 (at least that I am aware of!) in the country? Joe never fails to impress with the appearance of his striking NA, both inside, and out!

If for no other reason, make the trip to Zedfest #8 in 2018, wherever it may be, to check this beauty out!

    **********

The Best Interior Award ? Winner: aanorton

The owner of this year?s winner for Best Interior goes to one of the most unassuming Zed owners I?ve ever had the privilege to meet? At Sunday?s Show & Shine, Alan?s focus was on showing off the impressive modifications that he?d made under the hood, and it never even occurred to him to open his treasured 2+2?s doors, and show off its wonderfully clean interior?

In fact, I had to, subtly, ask if I could pop a door open and have a look? Alan blinked at me in surprise at the question, but said that I was more than welcome to open the doors, pop the hatch (which still even had luggage and personal items in it, lol!), and poke around to my heart?s content? In conversation later, it had never ever occurred to him, even though I was an organiser, that I was actually judging what I saw ? and not just being plain nosy, ha, ha? :rofl2:

I was truly surprised? Nay, gobsmacked? At what I found!!?!

Some of you may wonder how I could award this to Alan over such stellar examples as that of ZOE NZX300?s amazingly detailed machine, so, for clarity, I?m going to explain my reasons? The interior in this unassuming Zed, which, no offence intended to Alan, certainly wasn?t a contender for Best Exterior (like Zed?s such as those owned by ZOE NZX300, ProckyZ89, 90TTZ, AzzA09MPS [with its awesome Yellow Pearl paintjob!], or my own silver Zed, just to name a few), but? ? ?

The interior, behind that equally unassuming exterior, was unexpectedly immaculate?

In the cabin, every plastic and fabric panel was where it should be? It had one of the best condition sets of genuine Fairlady Z floor mats I?ve ever seen? There was not a single wear mark to be found on any of the fabric panels, and I could not find a single scratch on any of the plastics? ALL of the plastics and fabric panels looked as though the car had just rolled off of the Showroom floor? The seats, though tastefully re-trimmed, were still original seats, powered on both sides, and even the gearknob showed no wear or scuffing?

In the hatch, the surprises continued? Hatch struts so good that his hatch actually leapt out of my hand in is eagerness to open itself for me? In addition to the cabins complete lack of scratches on the plastics, the boot plastics were also scratch-free? I even found a perfect condition boot carpet with NO warping that fit so perfectly, it was actually painful to the fingers to pry it up and look underneath, ha, ha? Underneath, again, everything was where it should be, including the sound deadening on the underside of that perfect piece of boot carpet, and the foam tray for the scissor jack was even complete to point of having the (in my experience) ultra-rare wheel-chocks?

We always know that ZOE NZX300?s car will be perfect, both inside and out, because that is the unbelievable dedication Joe has, and will always, put into his beautiful machine? But this year, the sheer surprise that was aanorton?s clean, faultless, interior was for me, well deserving of 2016?s win in this category?

Oh, and Alan is so unassuming that I don?t think I have EVER seen anyone so surprised, or so happy, to be announced as a (truly deserving) trophy winner? See below for yourself, lol!!! :p

    **********

The Best Engine Bay Award ? Runner-Up: ZOE NZX300

What more can I say about Joe, or his magnificent NA, that I haven?t already said? Simply, a beautiful Z32 showcasing Joe?s incredible attention to detail, and consummate taste in both subtle bling and tasteful highlight... Joe thoroughly succeeds in creating a car that is truly a work of motoring art?

    **********

The Best Engine Bay Award ? Winner: 90TTZ

Also, like that of ZOE NZX300?s NA, this Zed has an engine bay that is a true Masterpiece? Another award that Karl has, unsurprisingly, and very deservingly (to those that know his Zed well), won multiple times, all you need to do is look under that bonnet for yourself to see why? The carbon fibre highlights, alongside artfully accented polish, paint, and chrome, make it a sight to behold, and it is the only engine bay I have ever seen where anyone has ever gone above and beyond to smooth out and weld the wheel arches and shock towers for that extra touch of finesse?

In this engine bay, you?d be hard-pressed to find a detail missed, and, because it more than backs up its incredible ?Show? with a very impressive amount of ?Go?, it is my opinion that this Zed is, by far, one of the absolute best examples of a Z32 engine bay in the country? :cool2:

    **********

    The Best Exterior Award ? Runner-Up: Benny_C

Sneaking back in after a truly ill-considered, Zed-less, hiatus from Zedfest shenanigans, our resident funny-man, Benny_C?s, newly acquired Zed took the hotly contested runner-up place for Best Exterior? A clean, great looking Zed with a very appealing stance, Benny deserved the runner-up spot for his re-entry in the Zed family - where he belongs? ;)

Benny_C also comes in a very close second to aanorton for the ?Ommagod, I won what now???? award, too, also looking completely blindsided by his Runner-Up announcement? :rofl2:

    **********

The Best Exterior Award ? Winner: Zcar91

Freshly re-sprayed only last year in a Red that was as close to factory Red as was possible, sproting a Red Flake Pearl, Ceramic Clear Coat, and subtle bodykit pieces that work really well together, and a set of ultra-rare ?Godfather? rims (from the company that produced the iconic ?Godfather? wide bodykit once owned by the late, and much missed, OZ-300), John?s car is definitely one of the tidiest, and most appealing Zeds to have made the trip to this year?s Zedfest? Sporting also an all new windscreen, plus all new exterior rubbers, plastics and seals, John?s Zed proved quite popular with the public, members, and judges alike... This fantastic example of a well-rounded, and very tastefully built Zed well deserved this year?s judge?s choice for Best Exterior?

    **********

    The Angrybear Memorial Award: A-Bris-Z

Usually aimed as an award for innovation, this Memorial Award for one the Aus300ZX Communities most valued, and most sorely missed, members, goes in its second offered Zedfest to A-Bris-Z ? not for the innovation with which this award is to be more commonly associated, but rather for the encouragement Angrybear would have offered to Marcus for the many mechanical setbacks he has experienced over the past few years? The advice and support that Barry would have offered, as he applauded Marcus? great perseverance, is reflected in 90TTZ, the Inaugural Winner?s, choice to award the AMA to the deserving Marcus (who runs CarCraze) at Orange 2016?s Zedfest #7?

    **********

    The People?s Choice Award: 90TTZ

Whilst it was close running for about 3 or 4 of the other Zeds (with a handful of votes apiece), the Winner's podium for this year?s People?s Choice was never in doubt, with 90TTZ far exceeding all other Zeds present in the number of votes received from the public and present members? This award is, again, an award that Karl is no stranger to receiving, and it is no less deserved at 2016?s Zedfest #7 than it has been at any of the ?6? previous Zedfests that Karl?s impressive Zed has won this award? Freshly re-sprayed mere weeks ago, this gorgeous Zed has been referred to by many as "sex for the eyes", lol, and it is clear that both the public, and the vast majority of our members, all agree!

    :agree:

    Well deserved Congratulations, Karl! :zlove:

    **********

I?d like to wrap up my uber-long Zedfest #7, 2016 post event write-up now, with all of the thank you?s I?d like to throw out to into the winds?

    *****

    My fellow organisers:

RENZED ? Thank you for all your ill-fated efforts in trying to organise our Show & Shine to be held at the 2016 Camp Quality Camel Races, and all our best to yourself, Craig, and little Olivia? Hope to see you all in 2018? ;)

Mrz. Magic ? Thank you for all your own efforts, too, like your help in keeping MagicMike on track (lol), shopping for the Welcome BBQ, and particularly for organising the article in Orange?s local paper? Thanks to you we had much more public traffic that we otherwise would have had, but more importantly, we met, and gained, two brand new members? Also, all the best of luck to both yourself and MagicMike with your upcoming new bundle of joy!

MagicMike ? Thanks for your help organising the Welcome BBQ, and for organising and sourcing (I reckon!) the most memorable trophies at a Zedfest so far! Hope your Zed?s issues are sorted properly soon (and permanently), asap? :D

ProckyZ89 ? Thanks for taking on the big task of organising the Accommodation at both the primary venue, the Colour City Caravan Park, and at the secondary venue, The Templers Mill Motel? Thank you, also, for doing everything I delegated to you over the course of the Zedfest long weekend, and for doing each andf every one of those tasks without complaint ? no matter how small or how menial? That really helped in a big way!

    *****

Those that helped leading up to, or during Zedfest:

SaintZ, KandyZ and Robbo - Thank you to the three of you, also, for doing everything I delegated to you, without complaint, no matter how small or menial, and for your constant offers of help?

SaintZ ? I need to give a huge, and special, thanks here to my awesome Wife, too, for putting up with me when I was frustrated, angry, tired, annoyed, and generally ready to quit organising Zedfest altogether? Thanks so much for your part, too, in keeping me on track and focused? And for not murderising :)bash:) me every time I annoyed you with the amount of time, effort, and angst Zedfest took to pull off? :zlove:

90TTZ ? Karl, thanks heaps for taking on the job of MC at the Presentation Dinner ? a job that I?m not afraid to say terrified the bejeezus outta me? Once again, you did an excellent job, and taught us all a bunch of cool new trivia about our wonderful cars? :)

Judy Buckham (Awesome Wife of IB) ? Thank you so much for seeing our struggles, stepping into the breech to take control of the Welcome BBQ, and for being responsible for turning our Welcome BBQ into a huge, meat and salad-fuelled, full-bellied, success?

You are a generous, amazing, and fantastic person! :bow2:

gmbrezzo ? Graham, thank you so much for your advice, and for your support over the past year and a half? You?ve, too, helped me to stay on track, and to not give up on Zedfest (and the members relying on we poor organisers to make Zedfest happen) when I felt all was crashing down around my ears ? especially a week and a half out when things went particularly pear-shaped? Thanks heaps for being there for me? :cool2:

    *****

If I?ve forgotten anyone, a big thank you to you, as well!

    *****

    Lastly......

Thank you once again to each and every one of you that came along, whether it was for minutes, days, or for the full long weekend? You?re attendance is what makes a Zedfest? And the very reason why we go to the effort of building them for you?

I sincerely hope a good time was had by all (aside from the cruise?s disastrous lunch, lol! ), and I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible (and hopefully even a bunch of new faces) at the next Zedfest, wherever it may be, from Friday March 30th through to Monday April 2nd, 2018?

Feel free to PM any feedback you might have, too... ;)

    All the best,

    Iain..... :zlove:

    Well done guys

Well done to all the winners. Some absolutely gorgeous Zeds on display on Sunday. Was really a pleasure to walk around and gawk at all of them.

Sorry about all of the question marks... It appears that the Forum formatting doesn't like three full stops in a row to end a sentence, or single, or double quotation marks...

Really makes my post look a little odd... Like I wasn't exactly confident or sure about what I posted...

    :agree:

Very much agreed... All well deserved (though I never saw mine coming, lol)...

Was just great to see so many well looked after Zed's turn up! And to see some well known faces, but even better, to meet some new one's...

Really looking forward to 2018... :cool2:

Awesome write up Iain. Even Joanne enjoyed herself and she has a bet with the neighbours that my Zed will be drivable by feb 1st. All in aid of more Zed events.. no pressure lol.

Ok I FINALLY read everything hahaha!!

Glad you all had such a wonderful time :zlove: it looks like it was a fantastic Easter weekend :D

I'm sad I couldn't make it in the end but would like to thank Mike, Iain, Andrew and Cara for also organising a fantastic event :)

I can't believe the utter stuff-up from the cafe though *thumbsdown* to them!! Gee we even pre-warned them with how many were coming and they still couldn't cater appropriately! Not at all your fault though Iain - so don't blame yourself!

Loved all the photos and reading all the fun that was had, hopefully all 3 of us will make 2018 :zlove::zlove::zlove:
