Hey guys, sadly my stock suspension is starting to fail resulting in some serious tyre wear due to the amount of bounce the car seems to have at the front now.

My question is: are there any interchangeable coilovers shared with the 300?

I'm not rich so was hoping to get something second hand and was hoping my options would be open to a larger market.

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

R32, wi the very minor modification.

I was thinking adjustable so I might just save up and get a legit pair and finally bite that bullet

    CSR reputable and quality coilovers?

Also does non adjustable camber plate matter? I use 19" wheels and wanted to make sure they will suit my car

Not sure on either question, best too ask one of the guru mechanics like Rollin or Karl .

Because the Z32 has double wishbone instead of macpherson strut you can't get (or at least can't make use of) adjustable camber plates, you need camber arms if you want to adjust camber.

Short version: No, they're all like that for the Z.

Looks like they're the generic cheapo ones that sell to small businesses in custom colours etc., they'll last a few years if you're not too hard on them (potholes and gutters are very taxing on shocks) but they're not high performance, just stiffer.

If you just want a nice ride look at getting koni or bilstein shocks with maybe some lowering springs if you're into that. if you want to dump it on its guts have a look at getting some powertrix, I think Anti has some info on how to go super low on the powertrix units without breaking everything.

Also, referring to your first post about tyre wear and a bouncy front end make sure all of your other bushes and joints are in good condition before you start with the most expensive components.

Don't buy cheapo coilovers, they are awful.

I put cheap G4 coilovers in my MX5, terrible choice, bounces everywhere and grip is average at best. On a bumpy road it often bottoms out and the car isn't even that low nor heavy.

Zed on the other hand I splurged on Tein Monoflex coilovers and grip is much better than stock and despite being 9/7 it doesn't feel that stiff at all. Difference is night and day. If you're on a budget try Tein Street Flex which are new. Quite good too, I've tried them in a friend's zed.
