Qld Christmas party - December 19, 2014.

Hi guys, after meeting so many great new people yesterday at the Tech Day, we would like to invite you along with all our already founded ZX friends to a little Christmas gathering at our place on December 19. We've held a Christmas party (or organised it) for the past 5 years or so, so we know what makes a party great and we need to redeem ourselves from being in China last year ) I know it is a Friday night and I'm sorry, but we have run out of Saturday nights between now and Christmas, so this is the best we can do

We'll start around 7.30ish so people have time to get home from work and take a shower etc before heading over.

I'm happy to organise the food, but I would like to charge $10 per head please to help cover costs (you can pay on the night) and I will need definite numbers by the 15th so I know how many to cater for.

If you can bring your own chairs (we have 14 if people forget but will probably need a few more) and if we haven't quite finished our renovations at the time, we'll just ask you to overlook that

Please also bring your own drinks and feel free to bring swimmers and a towel as we have a great pool.

You are welcome to stay over - please just bring a pillow and sleeping bag incase we run short on space.

We live near Hope Island (just off the M1 between Dreamworld and Movie world) so you can get some bearings, and just pm me for the address if you are going to come.

Ok, the tiler, builder and painter are all working flat out this week to try and have our place 'party ready' by Friday night

There are a few names on here, and we are happy to drink with one person or 100, but for catering reasons, it would be nice to know by Thursday night if there are any other people thinking of coming please.

If you think you are shy, we have all had to go to our first Zed party at some point, and you will feel more than welcome (especially if you bring the hostess a bottle of wine ) so please just come. For those that went to the tech day, that is NOT where we live so please pm me if you need the address.

I know Gavan spoke to a few people on Sunday at the cruise and had some people who were keen to come, which is great, but again, please just let me know so I can make sure there is enough food for everyone.
