Time to close up the English language, I think we've reached the pinnacle here so there is not much point in going on.
Year 1940 was not a good year World War 2. Year 1950 cars were very expensive scares to buy a new one often with a waiting lists . the best new cars available for well of working class were a TC MGs, Hillman Minx, Austurn A40, FORD Prefects, Morris 8-40s & Miners, Standard 10s, Standard Vangards, Singer Roadster, Vauxhall Velox & Wyverns and Holden FX .If you were rich you could purchase a US car from Stack & Co and other importers ore Rollers, Bentleys from York Motors ect. They were not great years for the motor industries.
Was not me that made this statement first ,chili made this statement towards tassuperkart in jest all I did was to enlighten chili of the fact a 72 year old chili may also be running a dragster blown nitro walking frame in secret, who knows? LOL
Nope That's when you buy one of those 4 wheel pavement bashers with aerial & flag. Those suckers can go considering their battery powered. But then again, some old golfers still terrorise the fairways in their golf buggies. Just ask BB. Cheers From another O/F at almost 65. Keza :zlove:
Spot on Keza ... i belt Golf Buggies ... great for sliding on the slopes, heaps of fun ..... other members at Robina (now Palmer Gold Coast) will not ride with me ... great fun ..!!!!
