    Hi guys,

For those of you that don't know us, we are Lady Z and oohogwash on this forum (or Maree and Gavan in the real world :))

We have been selling hoists to car enthusiasts for about 5 years now, it all started on the ZX forum. We love our products, customers and are very proud of the business we have built up with your help.

We advertise in quite a few different internet places, so I wont go into full details on here, but if you want to have a look on our website, www.happ.com.au you will see our range of hoists, accessories, specs on everything and a lot of other useful information to help you decide which is the best hoist for you and details on column heights, concrete thickness etc etc.

We sell to both the home car enthusiast as well as businesses, and offer a range of hoists in both categories.

Our biggest End of Financial Sale is primarily on two of our hoists -
Happ30, being sold for $2040.00 instead of $2290.00 ($250 off) and our
Happ35, being sold for $2040.00 instead of $2190.00 ($150 off).

For all our other 2 post hoists (the happ40, 60, 70, 80 and 90), you will receive a free set of R1 car ramps, valued at $139.

As a ZX member, you will also secure a 5% further discount on the above offer.

We have sold both the car ramps and hoists to members on this forum - I am sure they wouldn't mind speaking to you if you ask me for their details.

We freight our hoists through all of Australia and even down to Tasmania and across to Pilbara in WA, so please just pm me if you would like a freight quote on any of our hoists or if you have any questions at all. If you want to speak to a 'bloke', I wont be offended (much :)). Feel free to call Gavan on 0439838477, or me on 0439833497.

Prices are back to normal July 1, or if we run out of stock, so contact us now :)

Damn it. This is on my wish list for later, not now, but if it's cheaper.... (that's the excuse I'll give my other half) :)

I have DA and CC plans going into council next week for my new shed. It's on a standard shed slab (from memory: 25mpa, 100mm thick, reo etc.). Do I need to put two thicker sections in the slab to hold a hoist? Probably a HAPP 40 or 60.

    size for slab

You are lucky that you have caught this at the right time.

As you are pouring the slab fresh I would suggest you put a solid footing 250mm deep extending 1/2 m past each end of the columns with 1-1.5 m in width. The HAPP 40 and 60 4 would take 4.5m x 1.5m section on that basis . This is easy to do when the slab is formed as the bobcats can make this in a few hits.

Give Gavan a call on 0439838477 if you want more details :)

All good Stef you know where we are :), if you need any help on dimensions, wiring etc just let us know. Best to avoid any errors up front and by then we will have a bunch of other items you can think about including air / water reels, presses, transmission jacks and are few shelving options.... Stay tuned.

Maree helped me get it up!

    :zlove:
I have also been using a happ hoist in the shed for 2 years or so. 2 post, non clear floor. Just fits in my shed height wise, from memory, shed height is 2.9m and hoist max post height is 2.75m.

Don't know how we lived without it for so long! Even things like plenum pulls (don't ask how I know!!!) are so much easier on the back being able to just hoik it a in the air a foot or so so you aren't bending over all the time!

    Thread dig.
I've been given permission to buy a hoist and I'm chasing a 4 post as while I'm pretty sure my shed slab is deep enough, don't have a measurement in the centre. Plus a 4 post should meet 99% of my requirements.

Any sales at the moment? :)
