Chances are i could get my zed running, but it won't be at all competitive If by some chance i actually run it, it would be on 98RON and shitty semi-slicks so fairly slow.

You can race against me then. I'll be on 98 too (stock engine and turbos) and I won't even be on shitty semi slicks. And if I beat you don't worry I won't lose any sleep

There will be enough fast cars there with Rob and hopefully JP showing people how fast Z32s can be, a couple less manic cars won't hurt.

Unfortunately, I don't have enough (read: any) money to fix my car if I blow something up, and don't really want to take the risk, considering my gearbox is ****ed already.

Check the date on your helmets!
If the helmet is over a certain age, they won't pass at scrutineering.
Got a pair of Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials available if anyone's interested.
Also a pair of Z32 rims to mount them on.

 

Hopefully I will be there mate, 90% at this stage!

Wow... I am surprised at the low numbers so far. I am sure there will always be some late comers. (and maybe a few have listed on AUS300ZX FB page??).

BUT... Surely we can get 15 - 20 of our Zeds to this event.

Rob and others on the forum put a lot of effort into running a number of events throughout the year. I note over the last couple of years, a lot of talk about the desire for motorsport events.. well F*&K... this is one of them and its part of a national event.

As Rob said, this is the best place to give your car a good run in a safe environment and with help and mates on hand. Just give it a go. :br:

 

ddaamm you think you got it back , its just me from vic , lol all the vic guys are sleeping or something , this is a perfect opportunity to go and have some fun on a track , but it seems people are just not interested in vic , at the rate ill probably pull out myself.

I might have a few mates coming up to enter as well. They don't own Zeds so they wont be in our lane but an interesting mix of vehicles none the less.

 

I really wanted to be there but I'm gunna have to save my money for the next drift day. Lyfe of a broke ass drifter.
