    Yep leaving Friday back Sunday can split fuel three ways

    I'll try to leave early Friday (Thornleigh area) to get there early afternoon. If I get delayed (sleep in) I'll give Procky a call

    We will be down the m2 onto the pacific motorway anyway stef . Prob by 11am we will be near end of m2 I am hoping? If you are a little behind we can slow down for you to catch up if you drop me a line :)

    Front end is in primer :(

    So no -could drive it but man there's a good few hours prep in it that I don't want to destroy...

    aaaannnnddd I've just found I have a weeping welch plug. Perfect!

    Put my old rad cap on which doesnt hold any pressure so it should be ok... don't even have any coolant on the garage floor but there is some coolant stains on the block. :(

    mate put some of that silver seal in works perfect, only sets when it get air exposure will seal great

    I got the zed out the other day and checked the oil, tyres etc. Then I took it on my customary drive round the block and it died completely halfway.
    Cranked OK but no life whatsoever.

    I got the spare series 1 PTU out of the glove box (where it has languished for close to 8 years), plugged it in and the car started immediately. I took the car home and installed it properly and dug out the second spare from the garage and put it in the glove box.

    Maybe I should go to the effort of installing the SII PTU that has been sleeping in the garage for the last 6 years. (I did install one, but that must have been on the long gone silver zed)
