Early-type Turbosmart boost controller re-connected by mechanic during engine re-build...he made a comment about "over-boosting" but is no longer on the scene and won't answer calls. No problems previously when not connected; have tried Turbosmart but they are loathe to comment without seeing unit. The controller has a 'twin-tower' arrangement with one low and one taller adjustment 'towers'. Want to know if adjustment is simply a matter of screwing up or down the adjustment screws in each tower...and which way DECREASES the boost!
    Any help...??

Hook up a boost gauge and turn the knobs. When you go slower that means you've put the boost down.

Thanks for that...I assume the 'towers' control the upper and lower levels of boost??

that would be a dual stage boost controller, should have a missile switch or similar located somewhere for high/low boost. Get a boost gauge on it and adjust to your liking.

It's unlikely you will encounter any problems with it if it is disconnected!
Take the car over to Turbosmart & have them take a look at it.
