    Morning all.

I thought I would start this off, but I know Chris has some more photos.

Jess and I had a great time, thank you to all who attended the breakfast and run.

BTW, does anyone have any pictures of us stuffing our face?

Anyway, here's the pics that Jess and I took...and props to Jess who tried to take pics while on a windy road! Sorry the camera is no DSLR!

A few pics on en route:

Some bikes decided to join us and then weave in and out of cars.

Fun times had! Thanks for organising the route Robin. I think we should do this more often, lets say just after Xmas! Anyone taking holidays?

After a late night getting the zed back together and ready. We (Amanda and I) managed to make it to breakfast, after a short pitstop at Autopro for some top up oil.

Was a great little catch up. Got to meet some new faces. A few of the regulars. Had reminded me of a previous event quiet a few years ago where we have a nice roll out of members join, its reassuring to know there is some backing here in Adelaide.

After our breaky meals, waited on by some very uptight staff, we ventured out on the cruise. Coarse organised by Robin. There were some new roads i hadnt actually ventured down before. Were some great windy areas, we'll have to visit again soon. Definitely made us aware of the small changes we need to make to the suspension to make it sit more firmly on the road. Larger rear sway bar and a tweak of the damper settings. Front felt solid, the rear a little nervous.

On to the pics. Sorry there are quiet a few. There were more members who joined in the breaky, but couldnt make it out on the drive. So this is it for now.

These were taken while "waiting" for the others. Unaware to us they were on the other side of the car park. Lol!

    Red zed = Tom
Blue zed = Amanda and Chris

Now these are some pics taken when we were parked up reconfirming the route. However it was at this point where Jaz (Adam and Jess in the Yellow Zed) got lost.

How long before you're mobile again Eric? Can you get it done for the next one in Jan or Feb? I'd like to see us get 12 or 15 Zeds together. That would be a great cruise. We'll have to find a better way of staying in contact during the run though. We can't keep losing people along the way. Maybe a more detailed map would help? Any other suggestions?

Unless I take time off work I don't think ill have his car painted within this time frame lol. But who knows. Might still be a go'er in stock form.

Regarding communications. Map detail were pretty good. But I suggest there be a complete list of mobile numbers for all members to have, but perhaps also pit stop points along the way, for when members get stuck in lights and or traffic. We can all meet at these designated points until all arrive, the continue.

Furthermore, perhaps release the route details a few days prior. So members who have never travelled the roads can study the coarse and absorb as much of the route they can.

Lastly, on other cruise evens, UHF devices have always been a win. I have a few portable ones and could temporary hard wire one into our bus while I loan out the portables.

    Just basic ideas really :)

At worst you could have the lead car and the last with a UHF radio. Maybe even the middle. That way the lead car knows when they get separated and can pull over in a suitable spot to let others catch up. Or wait at a set check point along the way. Also, make a note of who is in front of you and who is behind, that way you can tell very quickly if some one is missing. It doesn't have to be a complicated system that way everyone can enjoy the cruise.

Just a few of my suggestions.

Our Zed's are tough here in SA! :p

When half the good areas to drive through are rural and agricultural, dirt is to be expected.

Aint that the trueth, paint jobs no older then a week old and already on the hard stuff. Built tough ;)

Haha they have to be, have you seen how many clown commodore drivers we have to dodge. I don't even feel safe leaving the zed in a car park. Let the misses jump out to go do the shopping while I keep it moving around the car park. Lol.

    FIRST RULE OF CRUISING:

Always keep the car behind you in your rear vision mirror.

Other suggestions provided will help along with APPOINT a Cruise Director ... he is then responsible for keeping the show together and maintaining regular contact with all via UHF/Mobile.
