A quiet warning re ongoing pricing

Guys I'm going to have to make adjustments to the "ongoing" pricing from next week. Put simply, the prices advertised in this thread have been based on an exchange rate where we are on parity with the $USD (as I purchase the parts in $USD). The parts that were purchased in the pre order and those that I bought for my own stock were bought just a little below parity, but I have honoured the advertised price.

In addition to this stock, TwinZ sent some goods on consignment. Now these will cost me more as they will need to be purchased at current exchange rates.

Put simply a number of side skirts, bolt on lips, rear bumpers, bolt on diffusers, front bars, intercooler ducts and fog light ducts are going to go up 15% in the near future.

Why am I advertising this now? To give anybody sitting on the fence the opportunity to purchase from my stock before it runs out and I move to the more expensive consignment stock.

    Parts are being despatched

Hi Guys, just confirming parts are being collected (by courier) as planned. If the system is working like it's supposed to you should be getting email updates as your order is received by either Toll or Couriers Please.

I don't mean to be too serious here, but the reality is there have been issues in the past so it's important that we all know what the rules are. Once the goods leave my premises I am not responsible, financially or otherwise, for their safe transit and security. Of course I want to see everybody happy and to that end everything has been packed with reasonable care and appropriate materials. The majority have been sent as single items with a minimum two layers bubble wrap (extra on pointy ends) and labelled "fragile".

That said nothing can protect against negligence, so they have also been insured. The matter of an insurance claim is between the recipient and the transit agency -myself and the driver have signed to verify that the items were collected in good condition, you are responsible for verifying the condition in which they are received. In the event that loss or damage occurs in transit the recipient must notify the transit agency within a specified period of time otherwise no claim will be considered (their rules, not mine). Please can you take the time to inspect your items prior to signing "received in good condition" and notify the transit agency immediately at warranty@transdirect.com.au if there are any problems with your freight.

Thanks and again I don't mean to frighten or intimidate anybody, and I don't expect any problems, but given past experience it seems sensible to remind everybody of the rules we play by (and again these are the terms and conditions of the insurer and fairly standard) and what should be required in the event of an issue.

Cheers. I can't imagine it being too difficult looking at it all. I have to take my front bumper off anyway which will make it much easier.
