Comments:I purchased this slicktop to be used as a parts car for my own slicktop build but with the wife just having another baby recently and needing to clean up the yard it needs to find a new home.
The engine will need to be replaced as it has a spun bearing but i have avaliable a known good (complete from sump to plenum) NA motor ready to drop in which i will sell for an extra $500.

The Good
The car is mostly complete and technically runs and drives under its own steam but only just. The NA engine in it has a spun bearing and will need to be replaced.
All the manual conversion parts like the gearbox, pedals, ect are still installed and useable for a manual conversion ect
The NA rear diff and subframe could be used for a 4.1 conversion for a TT.
The interior is mostly complete and in the car but not all of it is installed.
The drivers seat has next to no bolster wear and is the best condition series 1 tweed seat i have seen.
The ECU, AFM and all the other important stuff is still installed in the car.
As far as i can see there is only one tiny dint in the body work, otherwise its in great nick
The stock spoiler is in really good condition.
No rust that I can find anywhere.
The buyer of this slicktop can have any of my spare parts in my workshop for free as long as they arnt going to be used for my build (trust me there is a lot of parts to go if you want)(take what you want, leave everything else, i need to clear it out anyway)
The slicktop is the best base for a track car and and this car is in fairly good overall condition.


The Bad
The engine has a spun bearing and would need a rebuild or replace it with another NA engine like the one i have available for $500 or do a Twin Turbo conversion using the manual parts already in the car.
The clear coat on the roof is pretty faded and would need to be cut back and reapplied.
I have removed the front bumper bar as it wasnt in the best condition and have not replaced it.
There is a small dint about the size of a 50c coin in the lower section of the left rear panel.


Overall I think it would make either a really good parts car or replace the engine and tidy it up and drive it on the road or as a track car.

The one and only price drop $1200. I will not sell it for one cent less but want it gone asap.
It needs a tidy up but isn't too far gone and would be perfect for someone's daily driver ;-)

Yeah I know guys but by the time you pay to ship it and all the extra hassle both for me and wildzx it's just not worth it. If it was local yes I'd hitch the tandem and grab it, red would look good on the racecar, but not worth it interstate, and I already have 2 in the backyard lol!

Someone will snap this up for a grand. The manual conversion alone would be worth that.

 

Hope someone saves this car. Needs a better engine.

If this doesn't sell within the next week then I will be forced to have to part out another slicktop. I buy slicktops cause I love them so much and it breaks my heart having to part out another.
