Noel I could argue with you until the cows came home about your work, but theres no point. you will never see that you could ever be in the wrong, or understand that you have virtually no business ethics.

regardless of the quality of the work that was done, we had an agreement, and you came to me a month after that agreement and stated that I owed you twice what we had agreed on, and you changed your story several times throughout the work.

legally I had every right to stop any work when you broke our agreement. you can't just give someone an amount and say 'that is what you owe' that is more than what was agreed, and you should have called me the second the work was going to cost a dollar more than what we spoke about in your driveway 5 months ago.

regardless of whether it is a cheap conversion or not if you couldnt do it for the price you told, you shouldnt have told me you could do the work and i would never have delivered my car to you which costs me fuel and trailer hire each time its moved.

if things have been a nightmare you have noone to blame but yourself. youhave to be very clear when you are talking with customers or clients about the scope of the work that you will be doing, and not hold them to ransom if alterations occur during the course of the work.

The guy is genuinely insane if he thinks that it could be done for $1000.

Thats 10 hours workshop labour, or 20-30 hours backyard labour.

The job is around 60 hours+, not including the extra work he had us do.

The gearbox was $200.

That's right, he got a $200 gearbox that had been in a car fire (he knew this) and had us put new sensors on it and install it. I don't know if the shifter bushes are what he's complaining about (his NA ones was non existant) or the gearbox, it shifted fine for me.

Most likely the cluctch just hasn't been bled and it's not fully disengaging. 10 minute fix and hes complaining that the gearbox is bad, since he has the mechanical knowledge of an infant.

 

It isn't, he just typed it in. It was Waynes idea of a joke....
