    From team Vic...

the only guys that I know off the forum and that are racing are Wykked, Badxtc and yourself Sandeep. They're may be others, but I'm not sure. Peter Black wont have his car ready. Tektrader most likely wouldn't haven't his car ready anyway, even if he wasn't selling it :)

    Who have I forgotten?

BTW if anyone needs a fire extinquisher. I have a new one out of the red car with a bracket mount I made to bolt in in front of the passenger seat using the seat bolts

    $30 pick up

Also a set of bonnet hold downs that dont need you to put holes in the bonnet. Made these too..... Bolts under the last front guard bolt and clips over the bonnet edges with foam between the contact surfaces so it doesnt mark the paint.

    Not sure Alex..

For that, your best off asking pete (WYKKED) who will be scrutineering all cars on the day.

This is a reply from peter.

(" If your car is road registered and still uses the factory bonnet latch then no, you don't. If you have a glass bonnet then I think you should, but it isn't mandatory.")

This is just to be clear for those of us that will be racing on the day.

Guys, the Supp. Regs. make up part of the track day entry paperwork and you should all read them so you don't get any nasty suprises. If you do have any questions from a scrutineering point of view post them up here and I will answer them.

I just wanted to remind all the entrants that it has been a tradition of the NDSOC to "Dress Up" for the presentation dinner on the Sunday night and at the last Nationals at Goulburn it was nice to see quite a number went to the effort. Here is a pic from two years ago to remind everyone.

It would be really great if all the entrants could make a similar effort this year and turn the presentation dinner into a really special occasion. It doesn't take up that much extra room to throw a suit (or a dress for the Ladies) into the luggage so please have a go.

    Also..

After last nights meeting, I want to remind everyone that if you are going on the track you need to submit both your Nationals entry form AND the Sprints entry form which is a separate document. Without both, you wont be racing.

I sent second form yesterday for the extra bits.

See section of the sup regs below.
All Drivers will be allocated a Dorian Transponder (Serial numbered) This shall be the responsibility of the Driver to pick up from the Check in Desk at the Track, test, and return. Failure to return the transponder will mean the competitor re-imbursing NDSOC for the replacement cost. Unless the Car is fitted with a personal unit, each Driver will be required to supply a Supermarket type Cloth Shopping Bag to carry the Transmitter. Drivers with personal Dorian Transponders must advise the Event Secretary of the Dorian Transponder number on the Event Entry Form.

    WHAT THE??

PROCKY Can you bring an Aldi's bag and mark it Dorian timer carry bag in black texta to avoid confusion. lol

    and then this.

NOISE : In accordance with our Track Hire Contract with Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, ENGINES ON COMPETITION CARS MAY NOT BE STARTED BEFORE 9AM. Competition cars must be pushed to the Scrutiny area. Offenders may be penalised by the Stewards and may include exclusion from the meeting. c) Engines on Competition Road Registered Cars with standard mufflers may be started before 9AM, but MAY NOT BE STARTED if fitted with a non standard muffler.

I doubt if anyone has standard mufflers,so???????????

Seriously though make sure everyone reads the regs and has their car ready.
