What is MS Kids support show???

and where is it?

 

I was going to post up the details in another thread.

I found the flyer. It is a MS fundraiser. It is at Bundoora park from 5pm-10pm with activities like amusement rides, moonlight cinemas, twilight market, etc. It is on saturday 2nd of march so ill definitely be coming to goldfields.

I only ask...

because my wife works on MS. Normally she gets all these flyers and fund raiser type things. But this one seemed to have slipped by.

 

Oh ok, I'm sure she does a good job everybody is welcome to come & any donation will be helpful. Kids & adults are all welcome. Its happening like 10mins from my area so its not far at all for me.

hahaha I'm here lurking! Haven't put my hand up so far as I'm not sure if the car will be ready for this cruise. Needs new brakes (slotted rotors are no longer slotted...) and a service & radiator flush etc, but I'll try and get it done so I can tag along.

 

My back is playing up again Mick & as per our phone conversation I'll run as a tentive at this stage, BADZX definately wont be going if I do run, its simply way to harsh a ride for me to cope with at this stage..... I'll probably run in either the white ZX or the S/C statesman pending on the pain/discomfort level at the time

will advise you on the offer you made shortly.

I'm in pending on how the tech day goes, otherwise I'll stow away in someones boot ;D.

 

Looking forward to this cruise and lunch. It will be good to catch up with Ross again too. The Vic car scene is pumping at the moment. 300ZX cruises have got some massive turnouts. I've been checking out other club / forum stuff at the moment too - Summer is when Victorian cars really come out to play.

 

Thats because VIC rarely gets a proper summer

Mount Macedon is a go.

Recently I went for a scout of Mount Macedon in the passenger seat of Craig's ( R31 Gagz ) BMW M3.

Here's what I found -

1. Craig's M3 is a weapon and a half

2. Craig is a madman

( Thanks again for the ride Craig, you made a happy man very old )

3. The roads were challenging, the scenery was great ( when I wasn't closing my eyes in fright or bending over to kiss my ass goodbye )
and the view from the Memorial Cross site at 1 km above sea level is fairly amazing.

Not my pics, but here's an idea of what to expect -









So Mount Macedon is definitely part of this year's route, instead of the Ballarat & Mount Franklin section from previous years.

Melbourne & Geelong & Southwest crews; - you're expected at the Ross Watt Reserve in New Gisborne by 9.45 AM.

If a Geelong muster is needed, I'd be grateful if you guys could organise that among yourselves

Will post up the timeline for the whole cruise soon, so that members who are in between the muster points can choose where to join in.

 

Craig and Renee ran a cruise up that way a few years ago then Doug, Krausey and I went on and had a great time, should be good this time too.
