electric window..

on occassions my drivers side stops working ,had a friend
look at it and he reackons when i shut door it pulls on it and this is whats happening ,one minute works next it stops ...the motor appears fine when tested ...???

 

There is a little black box behind the door skin, prise that open and there will be a solder that has come apart somewhere in there, fix that and you're all good.

 

Has anyone had any issues with the window now closing the full way ?

I have like a 1cm gap between the targa and the glass. Noticed it when I went to the car wash the other night and got flooded.

 

pull your door panel off and adjust you stopper in there its probably come loose and rolled down.

 

the stopper (glass side) is what needs adjusting

There is a small black box on the bottom of the door behind door card, I think it is called the amplifier (not stereo) these get corrosion on circuit board and cause this problem. I pulled mine apart and found dry solder joints.
