Try these guys www.temando.com they are a broker and bring up all different quotes from all the different courier companies. Awesome and never had a problem. I got a radiator, say bar and piping sent from WA to Sydney for $32 .... there were 5-6 options some up to $200

I think once i got 4 wheels and tyres sent from QLD to sydney for like $60 :-O

    Good luck:)

i sent a rear spoiler, with massive packaging (and yes, heaps of bubble wrap), from the G/Coast to suburban Melbourne, depot to door, by online company, "e-go".

all went well and cost from memory was around $60.00.

:( Sad to hear that happen Steve, they are usually very good and i've sent about 50 items with them including sensitive and fragile electronics. Hope you paid insurance ?

That was my first yep paid insurance no pay out cause I didn't have a receipt for purchase,
Asked for pics to see what and how it was damaged, no reply, they didn't even no on which truck it was smashed, theirs or the courier they used to deliver it, never again...

Not good mate. But old adage always keep receipts even for couriers, without it you technically don't have a leg to stand on. But i would have kicked up a bit more of a stink with them.

I use these guys too, very efficient. Only problem I've had was with Hunter Express. They lost the delivery and just said "too bad, not our problem". So don't use them.

Hunter and e-go are one and the same ( same carriers )
We ship over 100 items a week via hunter( over $20,000 account pm ), you seem to get problems with sub agents, ( most budget carriers share the same ) , rule off thumb the more hands it passes through, the greater chance off damage,

So for us major centers are fine, but once it gets rehandled, the less the care factor.
OP PM me and i'll try and help
