Hey Guys, After long deliberation, this project has gone further onto the backburner than I'd hoped and I need to move on as it's just sitting there doing nothing. Year: 1991 Body (2+0/2+2): 2+0 Colour: Red Engine (Turbo/NA): TT Transmission (MT/AT): Auto Interior (Cloth/Leather): Cloth Odometer: 12X XXX Price: $2500 As is Contact Details: 0448833823 -- I will be posting pictures up tonight -- Mechanical: The engine runs quiet, smooth and strong, the turbos boost to stock boost without problems. The auto shifts well and does not slip. The car blows no smoke and makes no weird noises. The wheels are stock alloys and clean up in excellent condition. The tyres are 225 chinese brands (roadstone etc) but 90%+ tread and will pass rwc without hassle. The only modification is the airbox which I replaced for a dual mushroom filter type intake, can't see any brand on it possibly ebay spec. I also replaced the front shocks with new KYB Excel-G shocks with low king springs. I can provide stock suspension. The tension rods were both replaced with ones with new rubber bushes as the old ones were perished. I have replaced the front rotors with slotted 280mm rotors (90% life) and brand new ferrodo pads (50km ago). The car drives, handles and stops properly. It had one elderly owner since import before me and might not be far off the 130,000km on the odo. Interior: The car is a red 2+0 Jspec, interior is tweed but in exceptional condition, seats are firm and comfy, all the tweed is intact and tight. The dash is not lifting or cracking, the steering wheel is in amazing condition in original leather (no cracks/wear). The glove box latch is broken and the glove box doesnt close (easy fix). It has s2 climate control and the aircon is ICE cold, the heater also works perfectly. All digital controls etc are working = climate, CRUISE, hazards lights blah blah, power and hold switches on AT are working fine. The boot plastics, carpet, etc are all in good condition. The interior carpet is almost spotless. (It had the plush floormats its whole life which I have taken for my other car). The cargo blind is intact and excellent condition. NOTE: I HAVE REMOVED SEVERAL INTERIOR PIECES TO FIX IMMOBILISER ISSUE, THEY CAN BE REPLACED UPON SALE. Exterior: The paint is very average and there is a light keying down one side of the car. It has a stock rear wing with almost no signs of perishing (there is some soft areas but it hasn't visibly bubbled yet. There has been a hit in the front bar which cracked it near the number plate mount and smashed a headlight, also -just- clipped the corner of the bonnet and front drivers side guard. I WILL PROVIDE A STRAIGHT GUARD AND HEADLIGHT. The bonnet can be fixed, or you can get a straight one for $50 or so off a forum member. The car would need a respray to be nice anyway and I had planned on this. In terms of the front bar, I can provide a stock NA one with urethane stillen lip (came off stillen 25th anni zed) for $250 or you can get a stock tt one for $100 off someone on the forum. The reo bar should be fine but I have not confirmed this. The splash guards, engine guard and guard liners are all intact. The exhaust is stock with the mufflers replaced at some point for stock looking (but louder) ones. The rest of the body is completely straight, no carpark dents or anything. Overall this is a car needing some work but with a very solid base. The running gear is EXCELLENT and unabused, the interior is all there. Once the few front end bits are replaced and the car is resprayed, it will be great and the price reflects the cost of this. I have tried to make my self sell it in the past but couldn't, finally realised that it's moving way too slowly and looking at work that needs to be done on my NA daily and other committments... it needs to be loved.
I also have a 100% working condition TT auto with stage II shift kit AND an HKS Automatic Line Controller that I can include for $500. Another one of those things I was going to put in but never got around to.
