Does anyone know what is wrong, it leaks at the front join but the back doesnt leak anymore. The seals are brand new from coz. Is it something to do with the targa roof itself? (I replaced the targa weatherstrip and the one that goes all the way around and down the front pillar.) The door closes very firmly against the seal.
Had a similar issue, if you can take the targa top off and park it in the sun for a while and coat the seals in gumi pflege (search for it), then reinstal. Also, adjust your windows to angle in more at the top... its just one nut to tighten once you've got the door skin off. the water can leak past the top of the window at the join and seep between the two seals. good luck!
If it's leaking at the join where the targa and the rood meet, you're probably missing the plastic end cap out of the T top ends.
A good tip, get compressed air and blow it down the little holes drilled into the metal frame around the targa roof, this helps clear out the leaf and silt that blocked mine up causing the water to pool in the roof area instead of running down these tubes and out.
What are the plastic end caps? I thought my targas looked complete.... Does Coz sell those caps? Or can i get them around here?
