    What no post event thread?

Well I just need to post my times before the working day starts so sorry Ross, hope you dont mind......

    *copy/paste from Zclub.com.au*

Ross, thanks for organising. What an AWESOME night.

The 350 HR did me proud. Didn't beat my time from last year but every launch felt good and every run felt "right".

My fastest time of the night was 14.305, the stock NA keeping up nicely with some of the ....frustrated 300zx TT's

That was my 4th trip to the drags in 6 years ish, but tonight was the best visit and most fun ever.

    Great night!

And my clutch is fine :)

Now to do some modding before my next annual trip to the 1/4 :)

    Runs in order of occurance.....
    ET:14.869 - TS:155.73kph - RT:0.217 - 60':2.348 - Result:Lose
    ET:14.305 - TS:157.08kph - RT:0.282 - 60':2.193 - Result:Win
    ET:14.330 - TS:156.23kph - RT:-0.008 - 60':2.155 - Result:Foul

pffftt... thats like losing a boxing match and saying

"in my defence i wasnt punching as hard as i could"

why would you run stock boost on a drag night?

was a great night, my best ended up being a 16.75 second pass, which while ill admitis pretty slow, is still the verts best ever time......100% stock NA auto, stock exhaust, airbox, etc etc etc, only change is the wheels and tyres.

ill be going TT manual with the vert so better times on the cards for sure............

im still unsure of the winner of the voucher, so if everyone can post up thier times (or pm me them if you prefer) and ill work it out and announce the winner!!!

    Great night

While no where near as good time as sparkles could do ( 13.4 ) the 350 anded up holding her own, it was my driving that let us down , Best for the night was 14.68 on my last run. My clutch still feels fine today, "yahoo" :D
Was a good night with everyone there and am looking forward to the next one.
I can feel some forced induction coming on but it will have to wait till I have everything else done, so in about 15-20 years :(:(:(:( :zlove:
Cheers Ross for organizing this, it was great fun :zlove: :zlove:

Well done for breaking into the 14's. I could feel your frustration.

    2.5K on launch?

Also WHY FI? You're keeping up with Stock TT's anyway.

I'll be doing exhaust, intake, and clutch and I bet I'll be seeing 13's next year.

I should have kept "the Metal" my old, smoking, shitty, crappy, falling appart 2+2 300ZX. That bucket ran 14.020....BEFORE I did the clutch, wheels (ones that were light and ACTUALLY FITTED THE HUB), and turbo back exhaust.

My ONLY regret is not running it again before I sold it.
