Auto shift kits ?

    has anyone had a shift kit installed in their auto box? If so ...What did it cost ? Chrs paul.

    I did..

    I had my auto box all beefed up, with a shift kit, stally, kevlar belts etc..

    Cost me $3g all up at the time..

    And sold it for alot less lol..

    Do you think it was worth spending that much? I would like to tighten up the shift speed and get rid of that slip between gears. Not so worried about quick launch speed.

    do it

    i put a shift kit in my auto. also have a tweaked up converter, best move i made re the auto. makes it a different car, quicker shifts. cost me 500 bucks do it. you wont regret it cheers bigmax.

    Yeah I loved mine. The missus wasnt a fan lol when ever she was carrying a drink the box would shift hard spilling the drink every where lol..

    But I loved mine, shed a tear when I sold it.

    Thanks guy's for all the info . Last shift kit i had was on my Xc Ford coupe 351 with ford FMX G/box. It made a huge difference. I will read the info links .
