Got a whole na motor you can have in exchange for turbo bits and some bolt on stuff off yours. All the na bolt ons will work with your block.
Ive decided that im going to leave the turbo engine in the Z for now, but just recon it it, so it runs the way its supposed to. I cant deny the fun to be had from boost. However, as a side project, I am going to source another VG to do the carby conversion. Its a project thats to good to resist. I dont know if I will end up running the carb engine in the Z yet. Thats something ill decide when the time comes, cause naturally, once ive set the car up for carby, theres no turning back. So as for your proposition ZedZilla, I cant go ahead with it, but if you still want to unload that NA of yours, let me know.
will think about it. Without the turbo model bits Ill need to used and mod NA stuff to make my project work. Even then you would still end up with the block and heads if thats all you want.
I have a complete gc VG30e n perfect running order, lifted out of my ute when I did the VG30det conversion. Make an offer!!!! L8r E
Gonna say spotted this on gumtree if you'd consider carby, http://perth.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-...twin-carbys-and-gas-system-W0QQAdIdZ285210327
That gives me an idea. I might do a double setup atop of the VG manifold, for shits and giggles, just to see how well (or not) it works. Probably have a disgusting flat spot and no top end, but I think ill do it all the same. @Zedzilla - That might be all I need for now. Let us know what you end up with. @Tassuperkart - Ever shipped an engine from TAS before? I have noeyedeer what thats worth. I think it would be a deciding factor. It also depends on what, if anything, I can find in Perth. Ill let ya know.
Right. Thats it. Ive made my decision. Bollocks to this turbo nonsense.... Carby it is. Anyone got an intake manifold off a carby VG they want to unload? One like this: http://www.dragtimes.com/parts/DATSUN-510-NISSAN-VG30-VG33E-INTAKE-MANIFOLD_230594448951.html
Yes I have. 70 bucks to melb and about 200 to bris. It goes at a pallet rate. Just try a few different freight crowds for a quote but avoid the couriers and fast parcel services like Ipec and so-on. They will quote you off the planet. Cheers E
