    Hey Guys, Girls
    I just bought a jap spec 1990 300zx tt fairlady z.
So it's stock completely stock, It says 102,000km on the clock but how do i believe this?
I want to know where do i start?, It has only been driven 200km in 3 years due to no rego (ever in aus) I know this by paper trail.
I have serviced it, new plugs n fluids.
What do i do to it? what do i check? under neath is tidy. No sign of much damage, I mean you look underneath and all you see is surface rust no real marks from oil or much all.
Problems are... it runs then stalls so doing a det bypass atm.
Car stall when heater are turn on so seized aircon motor.
next is auto box problem, No power when in drive, in 1st and 2nd all good. So box stuffed?
Any help will be put in use.

I own Honda's so Im use to vtec light weight cars. So turbos are new to me.
Just think of this as your next project car.
    thank you for any help

    Start reading tech articles.

Do a comprehensive 100k service & set timing to 15degrees.
Under plenum bypass and turbo coolant line replace.
Replace all your injector connectors and possibly coilpack connectors too if they are broken. (waste of time trying to clean them)
Replace PTU with a series 2.
Remove radiator and either replace it with an alloy one or take it to be professionally rodded and flushed out.
    Boost leak test the motor.
Check all fuel lines + clamps and replace where needed.

This will get you started :)

befored spending any money (and purchase) i would be ensuring it can actually get rego in this country, make sure it isnt an illegal import, or race only.
