    ive seen this done...

    cheapest option..

after you take the wing off..

use a rounded hammer and hammer a dint in all the holes... cover them up from underneaths so it doesnt rust and fill the top with bog.. than paint..

cheapest and doggyest way of doing it.. you can also do it youself.

    hold on

now I havent read others threads about this, so im guessing here, but I would say that welding small flat piece of steel on the inside (under the plastic lining) so the hole is sealed and then bogging that would be better. Also while your at it you can treat the inside with something to prevent rust in the future?

anyone can weld these days, takes 5 minutes and is a lot better than bog or anything of the sort. Best option IMO. (If I was into the whole brazilllan thing...)

I just used a shiteload of bog to fill up my wiper hole. considering welding instead tho... just so it stays fine with heat fluctuation during the day.

The problem I have with welding

If you just weld the hole close, what happens on the outside surface when its not flush, ie the weld jags out? you gotta cut it back, file it back etc which is dangerous considering there is alot of paint work close by.

Its not an issue if you are getting the whole hatch resprayed but if your not you are playing with fire. Hence if im not getting the resray done, I would weld a plate on the inside covering the hole and then bog the hole so all that is evident later is a small circle shape of bog as opposited to a large section of mission paint that was removed when trying to get the weld smooth.

To do it properly, you will need to get the hatch painted anyway. unless you want to leave the filler unpainted?

    Thats the big question

If you intend to do a proper job or close enough is good enough will do, also you can tape off the paint work and touch up the bog to make it blend it more. If I was going to repaint the hatch I would weld the holes directly.

    Covered so many times..

To do it properly your gonna have to weld the holes, it doesnt matter if you weld from the top or the bottom as you will need to grind or pistol sand the welds down afterwards anyway.

and welding will warp the metal even if you use the wet rag method so no matter how hard you try you WILL need bog to get the hatch and block it flat again, then 2k primer it and prep it, you will need to respray the hatch.
