hey all, anyone purchased and installed the full 4 piece set of light weight AMS pullets (alt/power steer/overdrive waterpump/underdrive crank) what is the quality like, and were there any unforseen problems? going onto a Auto NA, as both a power adder and for asthetic appeal.:zlove: please no discussion about underdrive pulley ad/disads,as a long term member i am fully aware of what may or may not happen with regards to this. cheers!
Quality is fine, there was some early issues with water pump pulley alignment but that has well and truly been sorted out. Not really too much else to say, they are well priced, quality is as expected and fit as intended.
brilliant..........im sold then, cheers........ group buy anyone ? lol ............probly get a better price for 5+ sets ....maybe
Haven't had an issue with the last 3 I have fitted, 2 TT and 1 NA. I can't speak for Vuk's remaining stock, but as far as I am aware it has been fixed and for quite a while too.
I'm using these right now. I had no issues with 3 pulleys, but the 4th... I didn't use. See here: http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=300575 MoulaZX
The newer versions have eliminated any room for potential concerns They are also the lightest on the market to boot! Regards, Vuk@AMS
I was referring to the OD Water Pump Pulley. No issues with the Alt pulleys as there are two different ID's depending on whether the Z is an NA or TT - we provide both versions! Regards, Vuk@AMS

Then go to install ams alt pulley doesnt fit...seriously pissed off, the diameter of the alt shaft is smalled than the inside diamter of the alt pulley, got mine in the last gb but went with air post for above mentioned reasons.. Vuk whats the story?

As mentioned we sell two different ID's. Either you received the wrong Pulley or the Alternator has been swapped since the original resulting in a different size! You can measure the shaft and send us an e-mail. We can exchange the pulley for the correct one without issue. Regards, Vuk@AMS
