Well I have mixed emotions as I enter unfamiliar territory, a world without a zed. Tonight my red baby goes to a new owner after 5 years of zed ownership (TT auto 2+2 and TT manual 5 speed). So, how has zed ownership enriched my life? I have been privileged to meet many good people who blew me away with their generosity. No wonder this is the greatest forum around I have developed the confidence to tackle many mechanical jobs I would have thought impossible 5 years ago. It would have been impossible without the resources on this forum and your generosity. For me that is priceless My appreciation of motorsport has grown and each week I cant wait for the Formula 1 or Moto GP practice, qualifying and races I was inspired to do something I always wanted to do since I was a kid and get my motorbike licence and get a bike. AWESOME The list goes on, but really I just want to say how important the zed community has been to me and to say thanks, especially to the local Brissie and South East zedders who helped me out on many occasions. I wont attempt to name you because I will forget someone for sure. Stay safe guys and girls. See you around.
Don't become a stranger Bob, we'll expect to see you lurking around the Forum and events from time to time. OK? All the best. Rob.
funny, ive never met you, but the forum will miss you. quality post and a beautiful zed. good luck in the future, hope to see you back someday :zlove:
Yep see ya back next year when you miss your zed too much and end up with another TT!! :zlove: Enjoy and stick around from time to time.
It's not a farewell, it's a see you later. Zeds do that to you :zlove: I too have met very many people through this forum. I have formed friendships which would far outlast any period of Zed ownership. The Zed is a great car, but the people on this forum are greater!
.. a sad day, again Bob .... stay in touch ..... .. it did not take you long to rediscover the itch last time ... so here is hoping ....
