Hey everyone, So im installing HID's (6000k) Iv decided to secure the balasts under the nose panel, perfect fit, all well and good except the cables are not long enough ! Has anyone had this problem before ? I have been looking around and cannot find extensions, i believe 2 cables are needed for each ballast. Does anyone have any furthur knowledge on this subject ?

This is true, i do not like flea bay, Thanks guys Im still wondering if anyone has had this problem ?
Yes, I mounted mine on top of the FMIC support rail in the Yellow Z. I actually made up my own cables though. They have to be very well insulated, as the start up voltage is very high. Mounting the ballast in the engine bay looks untidy, and the heat will lower their lifespan.
You don't need extensions. Just lift nose panel , face plugs to radiator and then screw to the side plates that run the same angle as nose panel and head lights. Dave

i had the same problem, didnt even end up installing them because i couldnt mount them anywhere. they are still sitting in my garage =P
Buy the new slimline digital hid ballast - i have just fitted mine between light and frame with bogs of space to spare cover connecters with black tape and it all just disapears into the scenery
Thread dig I need to extend the cords of my hid ballasts. But I'm a bit confused the eBay extension wires are they for one ballast or two. Eg http://m.ebay.com.au/Pages/ViewItem.aspx?aid=190402450080&sv=Hid extension&emvcc=0
