Got these babies today. Tein flex, 8kg front, 6kg rear. Just wanted to check if any tips or special tool needed to put them on. they will be fitted in this staurday. Few of us has them in their car. Hope there will not be too much drama.

Nothing too special. You have adj control arms to counteract the camber change?

an adjustable wrench will do it all, what other adjustable suspension bits have you got?

I'll have tension rods available if you need them? Cusco or tuneagent :)

Nice coilovers dude, do tell us how the ride is like when installed!

I fitted these exact coilies myself
Use a trolley jack, and if you can get your hands on another one, its useful.

Installation is not really a problem, because the flex are shorter than the standard ones. I set mine up as per the chingrish specs in the manual before install. They will not extend to stock height safely.

Breaker bars may help with the thight suspension bolts. I used a breaker bar to re-install the standard shocks, to pull the lower control arm down enbough to get the stockers back in... but you should have no dramas. A foot on the hub will do the trick to get the stockers OUT, but having an extra set of hands also helps.

...how do these compare to Super Streets?

    SS GSN22-B1SS3, Nissan Z32 - F 5.0 R4.0 (kg/mm),
    Flex DSN22-6USS1 Nissan Z32 - F 8.0 R6.0 (kg/mm),

Haven't tried any of them yet.

super streets are entry level, flex's are top and have more adjustment and better control AFAIK, flex can also dump the car where as SS will keep you above legal height

If by top level, you mean slightly better than SS's, then yes :p

Plenty better to be had over Flex's ;) Only reason to get them over SS IMO is the adjustable lower mount.

I've had both in my Z (super street/flex). The super streets are a great improvement over stock shocks/springs. They offer slightly lower than stock ride height when set on lowest setting.
I currently have Flex in the Z & it's like driving around in a big go-kart. Offers a lot more adjustment in height. Very bumpy on even the smoothest roads. You get a great feel for the road, but on bumpy roads it can soon get painfully uncomfortable. That said, I wouldn't have it any other way :)

You'll be happy as with those Kabir, once you do the first rear shock it's easy as and the fronts are even easier, i used 2 hydraulic jacks and 2 car stands, also had no problems with any bolts, didn't need a breaker bar or anything like that :D

My NA had tien flex (replaced back to stock for now) and my TT has G4 coilovers. The difference (in handling) is immense. I was driving everyday along a road that was made during the depression- those concrete roads made of joined together, uneven slabs. It got a bit tiresome, but every other road was awesome.
    <3 tien flex.

Fitted them today. Awesome improvement with better handling. Also installed tune agent tension rods (Thanks to Anton). Obviuosly my stock suspensions were in bad condition. Car is sitting 5 mm lower than before. Turning corners is far more exciting. Also feels much more comfy than before and no vibration when cruising at 160km/hr. Thanks to Chris aka ezzupturbo who knows what he was doing. Will update more after wheel alignment. Just discovered my PZP front camber arm (driver side) is about to die. Not happy.Only got them about 5 months ago. Threads are damaged and started to bend downwards.
NOW somebody sell me an EDFC kit.

Good job with the install, well done.

Can we have more info and pics of the PZP control arms failing? A few people have these including me. You mean the main thread is starting to bind / its not holding?

I will take some more pics and post later on.Chris can explain little bit more because he had a close look. I have to buy another set which isn't made in china soon. There was another bended PZP front camber arm (also driver side) few months ago with another car in WA. can't remember his forum name. Andy can shed some lights.
