    ...as for fibreglass. Molds (the better the molds,the better the result, and for a really good finish, double sided (front and back)molds), woven kevlar sheeting (expensive as all hell), and resin, and a means to apply it.regards GT

    Do you NEED an autoclave >>>

    to make c/f parts, or are they simply used if you need/desire to add strength to the finished parts?HRT have a bloody big oven to bake their parts in.

    Not Always necessary

    You can use carbon fibre without an autoclave if you use ordinary resins. For ultimate strength using prepregnated carbon fibre, an autoclave needs to be used to cure the resin.
