Unorthodox racing ally fly wheel ~5Kgs :)
    Extreme motorsport clutch pressure plate
Repucked unknown brand (I can't remember) sprung centre friction plate.

Works well & can take a serious beating with out any ill effects so far :D
Not to heavy with the NA clutch master & slave (no booster).

I need a new/rebuilt gearbox now though LOL! I've given this one enough grief & it's up around the 240000K mark still going just noisy & not shifting well.

Have you got Redline light weight shock proof in it yet? If not it will be like a new box......... for a while :D

Put that in about five hundred burnouts ago LOL!
To be honest I didn't notice any difference - mine was most likely to far gone, the shifting has been an issue third to forth for about four years at least. I'm sure it is costing about half a second at the drags at least.

I will abbreviate the first few years down to a couple of pictures:

Pod filter, boost controller, stainless mufflers, nice wheels, seats, Momo steering wheel, larger turbo compressor wheels, Mazda sunburst yellow paint.
featured in Rev magazine in this state & ran a 12.6 sec qtr mile

2mm oversized ACL pistons, Garrett GT2560r turbos, custom self designed steel down pipes, ally flywheel, six puck clutch, ported heads, ported manifolds, Kings springs, Koni adjustable shocks, dual ally intake, 324mm front rotors, one piece drive shaft, DTM 18 inch Kaliber wheels, trust intercoolers etc.
featured again in Rev magazine & currently pictures of the car in this state used in a 2010 calendar.

Enter the new shell. very low Ks undamaged non turbo

    Nissan Bayside blue

This was done shortly before the shell swap

Intercoolers replaced with brand new Z1 items, engine rebuilt with brand new Gen Nissan valves (after market ones failed) various silicon hoses etc fitted.

Brakes upgraded to Brembo R33 GTR units, sway bars replaced with White line front & rear.

    99 spec rear wing

Custom diff cover, full stainless custom exh - made for me then repaired by me to actually fit.

Exh fitting better (mmm clean car)

There are countless little mods here & there that aren't worth a mention, Fitted a Howe radiator with a Spal electric fan, obviously an NA power steer pump with HICAS completely removed from the subframe etc. The garage link fills in the gaps mostly :)

I got one of them in the road car last year. Remember when the exchange rate was good last time? I got it landed from Coz for AUD $2130 :)

It really is lovely to use.

I am loving the wheels. What are they? They look light.

Stripped subframe looks cool as well. Nice car, have always been partial to yellow zeds. Shame you changed it :)

BTW dont buy the Z1 clutch full face clutch. I have one and it isnt up to it. When I get time it's going.

Yeah sure, don't forget I'm in NZ & you will have to ship over to Aus from here, you start a bulk by thread for them & take care of all the trouble at your end & you can have as many as you like :) the price MAY even drop with a much larger number.

You may be able to have them shipped directly to Aus from Z1 but with the way your Gov works is that a good or bad idea?

Oh yeah customs, could be harder than i thought. Might have to get my own in, and i dont live in a big city so its going to be a killer for shipping for everyone. Ah well :(.

    Broken:

Unsure as to the exact cause of the detonation as boost was low 13-14PSI, heaps of fuel there & temps weren't over the top. It was having issues with crank case ventilation & smoking etc so I suspect to much oil = low octane = cooking time.

We had it on a dyno a short while ago & it checked out OK.

Will get injectors tested BEFORE they go back on.

I can rebuild it better, faster, stronger than before :D
