AAMI would insure me without mods, but it was $5500 a year for a J-spec or $3500 a year for an Aus-Spec. Just cars was around the $2000 mark for both I think.

 

lol!! Then dude i'd stick with JustCars in this case, AAMI actually owns JustCars anyway if you're concerned about their integrity.

Also for Erik and others, here are some more pictures including interior shots, and close ups of the stone chips. Keep in mind the car hasn't been washed in a while. It hardly sees the light of day but my last trip to Melbourne caused all the bug splatter. So i repeat, all the bug splatter ISN'T damage Also note that interior panels already dyed black actually look quite black, albeit a little dusty from sitting in the shed. And centre console cup holder is mid way through hence the duct tape . Just need to bog that in properly and paint once i have a bit more cash.

I've just had to pay for a $700 trip to QLD midyear for a wedding, power bill is due, and insurance in due in 2 months or so. If somebody is interested, then make me an offer. anyone looking at buying this i can tell you it is a very well looked after zed i know this as i rode in it for the WHOLE GOR cruise last year and it has a nice exhaust note..doesn't drone on highways but u give it a bit and you'll hear it for sure and the engine pulls strong like it should without any ticks or knocks. also the ride was good and this was before all the sports suspension parts were installed!!

The car as a whole is in my opinion is very solid, not rattles or creaks, 100km service done by Expert Z mechanic, low k's and for 8k!! is a VERY good deal.

like evan (ZedEx) has said it does have a few cons like leaking heater core and these are only there as Evan (ZedEx) is in a tight spot at the moment but with these things fixed the only other stuff is aesthetics and majority of those are cheap fix things. and with them fixed u have a well maintained low km slicktop Z

Anyone looking at this, just go and have a look!!! there aren't many zeds that are well cared for and this is one of them.

Interior bits are on the roof so people can get a decent idea what they're buying. Better than stacked on cardboard in the corner of the shed. No point putting the interior back in if the heater core needs replacing IMO? I have a job thankyou, I never said I didn't, but my girlfriend is about to lose hers and I earn 480 a/t a week. I then pay 60 a week to pay off a car that i never get to drive. The missus has always had problems with centrelink so may not get payments for a while, so worst case scenario i'm supporting two people, a dog, HALF of my wage in rent, and 60 a week to a car. Something's gotta give, so it's the zed in this case.
Did your car come with about 5 grand worth of engine and suspension mods? Perfect compression? I know it's not in that flash nick exterior wise but as soon as some new kid comes along they'll be getting a stone chip every now and again as well.

If you want to peddle your own car then fine, do so elsewhere. If you want to tell me i'm asking too much, or that i should go on centrelink (wtf?) then send me a PM. But please, don't spam up my thread. And please don't dignify my post with a response.

As I said guys, willing to accept offers, just throw them my way. Fixing the heater core as soon as i get Rudds Cash Bonanza. More preventative maintenance and fixing-things-that-will-break than you can poke a stick at.

 

Ok, have received my KRUDD MONEY and sold a few items, and also renegotiated my insurance so I can afford it without morgaging the dog. Have started cleaning her up in prep for heater core replacement once I purchase one, stay tuned
Also going to finish dying the interior, cup holders are nearly finished, then just have to relocate window switches and cigi lighter. Will also attempt to finish my custom speaker boxes, and if that falls through will revert it back to stock rear speaker configuration.
Then car will be listed on carsales. CheerZ
